Hi Suzie, I believe poles take about 30% of stress off your knees, so well worth purchasing a pair. You can always take one down and attach to your rucksack while you film with one hand.

hi Suzie. just a thought. with your dogs getting older please give them the best by taking them down to the water every day .they love it there even for a short time. we love to watch them. being dog lovers we always put them first. just had a run in with next door neighbour. she bought a pup 8 weeks ago and leaves it crying when she goes out for long periods. hurts us to hear it. i know you love your dogs .watching your dogs playing happily takes your mind off all the stresses. don't have guilt ok. don't ever look back. very best wishes to you and your family and beautiful dogs.

Congrats on the Munro, and all the walking impressive. And once again absolutely fantastic scenery. You are right pain and guilt is there but we have to look out for ourselves and what's best for us ultimately, even if that hurts other people. It's a shame anyone has to get hurt but life's to short. Take care :)
