Yea, a lot of bike tools are general hand tools, but there are a lot of bike specific tools also. This is just what I find works the best for what I need when I travel with my bikes.

Awesome bike, very close to pulling the trigger on an sworks frameset. How tall are you , and how do you find the S4. I am 6 1 and thinking of an s4/5.
@Forever-2-wheels2 жыл бұрын
I’m definitely not cramped on the S4 and I’m roughly 5’10” so at 6’1” you might be perfect. All depends how you want to feel on the bike honestly.
@jaytee8392 жыл бұрын
With the s4 frame, how tall are you?
@Forever-2-wheels2 жыл бұрын
I’m 5’ 9” and there are times when the s4 feels a little too big but I honestly love the way it feels. The longer length give it amazing stability and I don’t feel that there are any trade offs that I would be missing by not going with the S3 size. My old bike was the previous generation stumpjumper in a medium and this bike feels better in every way.

For the 3 base foam layers can you tell me what size (L x W, and thickness) you used for each layer, and where you got it? Thanks. Great looking box!
@Forever-2-wheels3 жыл бұрын
There are links to the foam layers in the description. They came pre cut for the specific pelican case model, there was a lot available.
I just bought that case and a bunch of tools. I’m done waiting for my LBS to work on my bike as Covid has made shops crazy busy. Thanks for showing us your layout. You gave me some good ideas.
@Forever-2-wheels4 жыл бұрын
No problem!! It is definitely a work in progress and I have tweaked the layout a few times since this video. Just take your time laying out stuff and really think about what tools you use the most and want to have easy access to and keep those on the top layer if possible.

We are planning to go visit Danville trails. Which are better the Hopewell Park or Geisinger trails?
@Forever-2-wheels4 жыл бұрын
Depends on what kind of riding you like. Geisinger is a little rockier kind of old school, longer climbs with what I feel is better downhill style trails. Hopewell is more flowy with more man made features but its not as rocky, more loamy.
@SummerFlies4 жыл бұрын
Will Ride For Donuts thanks. I think we will give Hopewell a try first.
@joshspangenberg77874 жыл бұрын
I’ve ridden both trails for 3 or 4 years now, but always find the geisinger trails more exciting and challenging. Hopewell trails are just as exciting, but I always seem to have a soft spot for geisinger.

yes, that works if you have a complete strip down to frame, I used two saw horses, one each side of the complete bike, a six foot pipe from one to the other. Put straps over the pipe, tighten and lift, slide motor into space on bike, use grease ontop of pipe to ease weight of the engine to slide. works great

I use wooden dowels with two screws in either side. Works alot better than this pos. Glue on multiple dowels, tap on the crown and pull little by little. It will worl but you just might have to heavy a crown, to break a dent out you need to release the pressure from the crown(where the crease is) so the dent can be pulled easier
