He is also doing this coming off of an injury that literally wouldn't allow him to grip the football. We've never seen a Quarterback come back from this type of injury before.

The problem is that Joe ISN'T the reason the Bengals arnt winning. He's doing everything he can in order to win. The defense is essentially non existent, and McPherson is absolutely CHOKING this season. Joe is playing Lights Out.

It's hard to have a valuable player on a 4-7 roster. There's no reason this offense should not be winning games with the amount of money and people they brought in. Joe's protection is a problem, but that's because of the way Joe wants to play.

While it's true Joe has in spades these attributes--reading defenses, anticipation/accuracy, elusiveness, on-the-run throws--there are actually several even more illustrative examples of each of these. More impossible throws, escaping what looks like a sure sack at least twice in the same play, etc.

nah, im happy with Herbert. Burrow is having a great season right now, but it doesnt mean he will produce those kinds of numbers every year. this is the NFL, one year your stats are off the chart and the next its just average

one thing to mention is that the last play (a hail mary) against LA chargers was actually a great pass, tee higgins had a shot to make the grab. I feel bad for burrow, chase, and hendrickson, because they are all so talented, but coaching and bad management hold their super bowl chances back. Hope burrow doesnt become the next andrew luck, constantly putting the team on his back and having to do everything he can. back to that super bowl loss in 2022, burrow was driving them down the field to tie it, but on 4th and 1 burrow had no chance against aaron donald. tbh i wonder if burrow will play so well they cant not give him the mvp

I wish this terrible ownership, coaching and GM would support Burrow/Chase and Hendrickson like they deserve. At this moment Burrow is #1 in yards and TDs. Chase #1 in yards,TDs and catches. Hendrickson is #1 in sacks and pressures and they've only got 4 wins

As long as he keeps making the plays, I'm ok with the INTs. If anything his play is just so entertaining to watch. It also becomes a lot more entertaining when Watson is healthy, and it looks like he at least found a fix for his hamstrings in the off-season

Burrow actually has better stats when Chase is hurt and not playing. Idk why that's the case, but it's true. Maybe bc he spreads the ball around more when he doesn't force it to chase or maybe bc he knows he has to carry the team more without Chase, but either way his stats are really good when Chase is out

Last year's Bengals defense was so horrendous and dreadful they were ranked the 2nd worst only being above Commanders Defense. And this years Defense so far has allowed Herbert to score more than he EVER has ALL season long. Hell, even throughout Herbert's entire career he had a better O line protecting him than Burrow has. Listen, I like Justin Herbert and I wish him the best going forward. I hope he even wins a SB with the Chargers. But knowing Burrow's stats, how criminally high his passing yards have been and only unintentionally throwing 4 INT this season. It just screams crazy to anyone who would actually prefer Herbert over him. Mind you too that Burrow should also be MVP this year, taken away by his lackluster and inconsistent Defense.

Nowhere in most valuable player does it mean winning. It's mean most valuable player, simple. And being on. A losing team and having great stats , being 1st in the league in some on a bad team arguably makes you ee more valuable than the other guys.

He might not get mvp but I think all pro is in consideration his numbers are great this year. Also the mvp is the most overrated award in sports. It should just be all pros at this point they matter more.
