Ojowo Prays for peace, progress in 2023. The people of Ojowo, Ijebu-Igbo on Saturday, 7th January, 2023, gathered at the Palace of their Monarch, Oba Abdul Rasheed Abayomi Banjo, Olokinne of Ojowo, to thank God for the successful year 2022 and commit 2023 into the hands of God for safety, growth of businesses, promotion for public servants and progress for the entire Ojowo people. It was an opportunity for Ojowo indigenes in the diaspora to socialize with their people at home and access the administration of the Monarch. Christian and Muslim Clerics took their turns to pray for peace and advancement in Ojowo while also appreciating the contributions of family who champion major projects in the town while looking towards greater works in the new year. Notable guests at the event included Dr. (Mrs.) Titilayo Akinsanya, Otunba (Dr.) Adebayo Odunowo, Otunba Taiwo Olawale Owolabi aka Apata amongst others.
