This part annoyed me in the anime. Not because of the outcome, but because how easy it actually is. In the VN, you have to fight tooth and nail to get to the good ending, even outflanking Kanata in more ways then one and many more times then one. I know that the show itself is not that bad, but the structure of the story doesn't really translate well to film, it only really does well in the Visual Novel format.

i was confused when I saw "Rin ED" and "Refrain" until I realized that this is the ending of Rim 2 in the VN, before Refrain starts.
