When Chuck Wayne wrote and recorded it in 1948 it was called Sonny and the tonic chord was a Cma7 not a Cmmaj7. Miles Davis it stole it from Wayne and renamed it Solar.

You´re welcome, and thanks so much to you! this is exercises of mine, the idea is study chords by harmonic region in the same way we study the scales, then we can use this to compose, arrange chord melodies, accomping and improvise. I recommend to you study this chords with the circle of fifths! I´ll post soon about this!

First of all, I'm notice there is a mistake in the tab: The right notes are: F (fifth string), D (third string), G (second string) and C (first string), excuse me! And I think that both of your two proposals can be more exactly than the mine, my intention was write a Dsus (d - g - c) with bass in F. I like your F6 without third (and nine). Excuse me and thanks for your attention in the video!
