For me building my email list is as tough as climbing Mt Everest. I have managed to grow my views and unique users from 1K to 7K in half a year but my email list is around 30 people.

What have you been doing to grow it? I personally love the opt-in freebies route *but* with that you also have to make sure people are seeing your opt-in freebie landing page/sign up form.

Amazing video, Jessie. I always had this idea of how to help people enjoy Mumbai better because it's my hometown. Back in 2016, when I was not a serious blogger, a Spanish couple found me, reached out to me saying that they're coming to India and would appreciate if I can help them tour the city. I and Sarah (wife) went ahead and gave them a tour. It was all paid for by me because they were my guest so no qualms about money. However after they left it always stuck in some corner of my mind that this is something I can do. Of course I am not a professional guide or anything like that but it just stuck somewhere inside. I'll look into this again and rethink on how to go ahead. Thanks for this informational video.

I thoroughly agree with the principle of niching, however I intend to become an expert in a subject matter (i.e. adventure and eco-luxury tourism) as opposed to location. How would you best take this forward?

You might hone in on a few locations you know well for adventure tourism. Of course, you can cover the whole world, but just know it will be a lot more work (since you'll need to do a lot more research).

I have just moved to Greece and although I am always itching to travel, this is something I could do during the high season. I have one question though. How do you balance your NY itinerary and tour business with your main blog and travels? It would be interesting to hear!

Thank you for the kind words! Just added that idea to my KZbin videos list. In short, it is definitely challenging; but, I have worked really hard to streamline all of my tasks (ie cut and combine where possible) and then prioritize. For instance, I post on social media a lot less than other creators because I prioritize the tours, itineraries, and other revenue streams. For me, social media is a great tool for growth, but I've found that SEO, email marketing, Google Web Stories, and Pinterest help me reach my goals (ie traffic & income) faster & easier.

Hi Jesse, how long have you been using this tool? I love the creation workflow, but will it actually work with scheduling them all out to Pinterest? Especially when Pinterest prefers you to use its own native scheduler.

I’ve been using it for a few months and am seeing clicks on my pins - though I expect to really be able to report back on the scheduler in a few more months since pins can take a bit to rank. Keep in mind, you can always use this tool to create pins and still use a different scheduler if you’d prefer!

@@jessieonajourney yeah, from what I saw, the creation process looks easy. I recently signed up for Nadali's Pinterest course after watching a video from her and Nina Clapperton. So I think I'll be using her program first. Mixing different things often leads to worse results.

@@inlovewiththailand Nadalie is such a whiz with Pinterest! And I think you can use different tools - in the past I created on Canva (which took me so much time) and then used Tailwind to schedule - but I would say *test* one thing at a time so you can accurately measure.

I've listened to this video several times and taken notes on many things. It's helping me to establish a good routine from the beginning of my official blog re-launch. While I've had my website for several years, it wasn't until recently that I decided to take it to the next level. So it's basically been dormant and is on its way to breathing new life. I'm excited to use the ideas given here, tailor them to my needs, and put them into action. Although I have a lot to learn, this has given me some amazing ideas on next steps. They are just the various tasks related to those themes. For example, the “content & outreach” sprint would involve researching/writing/publishing posts, reaching out to potential collab partners, etc

Thanks for the video and explanation. I will try Surfer SEO this weekend and see how it goes. Btw, all the features you mentioned in this video are available for free users? You mentioned that there are very limited features open for free users but you went through many features hence the question.
