You can email me a photo: mishawna@mishawnaromerohair. com. No pressure. Also, head to your local library and there's tons of books on vintage southwest turquoise jewelry. Thanks for watching ! 😊

Thank you for your video! I have a question about the rubber gloves. Should I get ones that are used for chemicals? There are a few on Amazon. My mom lives in assisted living and I should clean hers too! But they are put in a drawer. I do the same thing too.

You're welcome Lucinda! No need to get special gloves, the ones I use at the salon are the black salon gloves you can get at any beauty store, but any rubber glove- even kitchen ones will do. Definitely clean her brushes too. Or if they are more than 10 years old, throw them away and get new ones. I buy all my brushes and combs at Sally Beauty or from Diane Beauty company both are great standards in Beauty care. Thank you for watching my video and best regards to your Mum! 🥰

Use pinesol in a 3:1 ratio so as not to get your brushes too pine smelling. Follow same timing in my video it will work great. Thank you for watching and great questions!

I do remember we went in February and I was pleased that It wasn't to busy, and I slept well both nights. Not too noisy. parks.sbcounty.gov/park/calico-ghost-town-regional-park/ Scroll about half way down on left of screen, you'll see information on cabin camping at Calico. 1.877.387.2757 Hope you go it was alot of fun! So you don't rinse your Quatz solution off your brushes and Combs? I thought you said the Quatz was poison, seems like you would want to rinse some of the poison off the brushes and Combs so it won't get on your scalp and hair.

@mishawnaromerohairstylist 5 ай бұрын
Hello Margaret! Great question. And I do sometimes rinse off the Quats with water, after I'm final wash step #2. I do know that during our licensing exam, and training, I was taught that the Quats, becomes not harmful and there is only trace amounts (that won't hurt you), after the brushes are completely dry. I don't think the correct word is denatured - but something along those lines. The active poison goes away when completely dry. Thank you for watching my video, and thanks for the insightful question!

Hello Chiara! Yes, I have gotten so much use out of it, even tho I live in San Diego. Temps here are 41º-44º, too cold for me, so I wear this thing every single day during winter. Its Silverbirch color which is a gorgeous off-gray white, I do need to take it to the cleaners (a special one, as this jacket was $1300, and a normal cleaner may not work). My husband says it's very dirty at the bottoms and I need to take it in, well I'm scared to, so I will be calling the company to find ones that work with Canada Goose down parkas. They offer that service. I do like your idea of a follow up video. I will try to do that once I find a cleaner I fell comfortable going to. The parka itself is super sturdy & lux made I can tell by how I feel when I wear it, and compared to my other parkas: North Face & Abercrombie Fitch. The CG is just exceptionally made. Nothing about the construction has even begun to wear. Just the scuffs and dirt, because it it's almost floor length, and getting in and out of my SUV - it's dirty. Who cares I still wear it.ha. Additionally, I wish the parka companies would take a page out of Canada Gooses' book, because they all make ones that only go to mid-thigh. Even Moncler, they don't have floor length which I find odd. Like you're going to go out in negative temps, and just use a Parka that covers only your butt? IMO they need to offer more floor length selections, for people who get cold all the way down. For that reason I love CG, they have many floor length styles in many colors. Thank you Canada Goose! North face has none. Moncler's just has one, longest is only to mid shin. It's the Oreiller long down jacket. From the looks of that parka, Mystique by CG would blow it away in terms of use over the years. Mocler seems to be a fashion parka, whereas CG Parkas are for real life over the years. It's my favorite parka I have ever owned. Anyway thanks for watching. Take care and get this parka, you'll be so in love!

Is Canada goose warmer than your North face
@mishawnaromerohairstylist
@mishawnaromerohairstylist 10 ай бұрын
Yes it is Fizza! I own a North Face Metropolis Parka (Older model 2015 such a fine design. The newer NF Metropolis design isn't as edgy and cool, its more soccer Mom nerdy, like a run of the mill Coscto jacket) anyway I digress. Absolutely hands down the Cnada Goose is waaaay more warmer. It feels more lux, substantial and hearty than the North Face. North Face would be a C+ C-, and a Canada Goose would be A++ in winter keeping you warm tests. I feel like my CG can withstand very cold weather 21º F, whereas I still feel chilled at 44° if I'm wearing NF. Great question! Can't believe no one has asked that yet. You may also want to call CG to see just HOW their jacket offer such amazing warming action (I can't think right word). I do know It's goose down and I'm OK with that because it's such an incredible parka. Given my druthers, I wish I had know about CG 20 years ago! I would've been so much warmer. Have a great week and thanks for watching!

Hello Ellen! @@user-ob8bp6hv5j I skate a Sandford Shapes skateboard. Here's their IG: instagram.com/sanfordshapes/ . I pick my board based on shape. I like a square-ish board that's a squeak larger than street or mini ramp boards and not as big as a pool cruiser board. I skate mostly mini ramps, 6' ramps, and transition skating bowls, and such. So I don't want to have to take 2 boards to the park and schlep all that gear, I just pick a board right in the middle of those two types of skateboarding. If you want, screen shot my board in the video, and email it to them: Sandford Shapes Luicadia California, they could probably send you infor on how to get one. Its been one of my favorite shapes by far. I'm 5'4'😻109Lbs, so it works good with my medium frame. Probably won't work if you are small or petite. Word: Just use soap and let them be in the bucket for several minutes. Using harsher chemicals is just too dangerous. The aroma or the smell of the chemical may hurt your mind or bother your nose. Just use soap in the beginning or use Ariel (Mexican soap which does kill bacteria) and then wash your items with water, and then use hydrogen peroxide instead of ammonia. Ammonia is just like using Spartan Chemical deoderizer from Ohio which are just too harsh, and very dangerous! September 19, 2023 USA

Hello Sylvia! Thank you for watching my video. To my recollection, yes, I do think that was one of the reasons, the Native artists did not sign their work. It has been over a year since I made this video, and it may be worth it to you to read this book I sited in my references: 'Hallmarks of the Southwest, Barton Wright c.1989' I checked it out at my local library, and it deals solely with the hallmarks of the Native artists of the Southwest. It was a fascinating book, and i seem to remember it was there that I learned of artists not signing their work for various reasons. Additionally, when I got my necklace appraised, the Antique appraiser (He was a specialist in Native American Indian Jewelry), he used just this book to appraise my piece! In addition to his expertise and knowledge. He owns an amazing store in Vista California called: 'The Indian Store' 1950 Hacienda Dr, Vista, CA 92081. It's definitely worth a trip if you're ever out this way. His name is Ken and he's super helpful and knowlegable. Enjoy, and let me know if you end up reading that book. 🙂

How do you remove dust from brushes?
@mishawnaromerohairstylist
@mishawnaromerohairstylist Жыл бұрын
Hello DebbieHennessy8144! Yes, that stuff is pesky to remove. It's best to take off all the lint and fuzz before you begin the prewash step. That way your brushes come out squeaky clean. An old toothbrush works, a pedicure brush or there are a variety of brush cleaner tools available : amzn.to/3AHEbNS . You can also cut the stray hair or fuzz out if its really bad. Additionally, if the fuzz just won't come out, time to throw away your brush & get a new one. Brushes are typically $10 - $50 range for a decent round brush or vent brush at Sally Beaty. Thank you for watching my video Have a great week!
