This is my song and you are right it is from that film. It was my first Film License and I also acted in the movie. I am the top left guy in the poster even though I have a very small part. I get Killed on page 86. I wrote the song and produced the song as part of a Houston Band called New Toys. I've been a big fan of NTTT for several years after my flatmates had a truly massive collection of rare or obscure film with an emphasis on sleazy low budget titles that had gotten a blu ray re-release. After having that movie's infamous music video segment breakin' in my mind for so long, I sometimes find myself looking up random trivia for it. I'm really sorry Joe didn't make it big and become one of the MTV legends. But at least we have some of his incredible work to enjoy

Unfortunately couldn't find it. :( What surprises me a bit is that the video is described as unreleased, even though I have seen it. Are you still in touch with Roger Noel Cook and can you ask him? As far as I remember, I didn't hear the song in the opening, but it was the first sequence as far as I remember.

Do you happen to know the what episode it was from? I might be able to find it since I have a link to a bunch of the "Electric Blue" shows. Yes, I can write Roger, but without more details, I doubt he will remember since I was literally the only person to give him his songs made for the series that he never got a chance to save at the time, other than the Crossfire ones that he recorded to vinyl.

@@Phaota Sorry , I have no Informations. I only know that the show run on the German Free TV during 99 until 01 . I was 13 or 14 during that time and didnt remember on anything, without that male singers performing that song on a swimming pool , in a more rock like perfomance. :(

Sorry for getting on your nerves again. But are you really absolutely sure that there wasn't a version in which men sang exactly that song? As I remember it, the scene in question was at a swimming pool in front of which a male band was playing this song while naked women were bathing/dancing/somehow walking along. I remember exactly the long drawn-out "electric blue", but I'm almost 100% sure that it was sung by men. Admittedly, I saw the video on German private television between 1998 and 2000, so I don't want to rule out the possibility that my memory is deceiving me. On the other hand, I'm somehow pretty sure.

There are several versions of the main theme, all of which are available here on the channel. Three by Roger Noel Cook's "Broadsword" group, two of which are instrumentals, and two by Roger's second group name change, "Crossfire", both of which are sung by Roger. If you know the exact episode, I can double check, but the four versions are the only ones I came across in the whole series when putting together my 79-song soundtrack for the full series.
