She and Carol Burnett were really ahead of their time. Both had kids while in their prime, and made the studios work around them.

The lovely Lucille Ball (she never thought of herself as pretty, but photographs and her work say differently) making the audience and even the panel howl with laughter. I've never seen John Daly laugh so much on WML? as when Lucy (and also with Desi) appeared. I can't remember if this was before or after the "Women From Mars" episode of I Love Lucy, but she nailed it, as she always did. Something about us flamboyant gentlemen admiring our lovely redheads: Lucy, Ann-Margret, and the often forgotten, but still gorgeous, Dottie West (before Reba, there was Dottie).

This episode of What's My Line was aired on February, 21 1954. The "Lucy Is Envious" episode was filmed February 16, 1954 and aired March 29, 1954. So, she was fresh off performing the "Martian" voice when she appeared on this episode of What's My Line.

2:25 - When Steve Allen asks Lucy if she's a man, the first word of her mostly-gibberish response is "maricon", which is the Spanish slang word for - let's say - gay man. And it's obviously something her husband taught her.

Arlene is a class act! I apprecaite her including the sit-in guest even thought the panel knows who it is... -"Ms. Kerr, do you know who this is?" -"Well, I think...is it must be?" -"Who do you think it is?" -"It MUST be Lucy!" -"It certainly is!"
