@@gotchagee3315 Everything with a beginning has an end. I rode that coaster since it was called The Turn Of The Century before they removed the 2 camel humps and installed the 2 loops. They need to fix the tunnel lights. It looks like something is up with Roaring Rapids since it hasn’t been running and the signs are no longer up.

@@The-You-Doober yes I get everything does. All I’m saying if they are putting cost into something then the end is now farther away. Just like the Eagle, the Whizzer, Triple play and the others they said wouldn’t be there long either. If cost is put in it, it’s not going to go away the next season.

@@gotchagee3315 I make comments to draw comments to help the algorithm on my channel. Triple Play was rebuilt. First they sent the parts to Astro world to run theirs for a season. Astro world is defunct now from what I heard. After investing a lot of money in a ride doesn’t mean it will stay. Z Force was one, Ragin Cajun was another. Mardi Gras Hangover is another along with all the others before it. Theme parks have to constantly evolve or they lose visitors. Cost doesn’t matter. The Demon I always walk right up onto the ride with no wait. That tells you low ridership. The Whizzer had a big uproar and decided to ax Shockwave instead. That was a big cost they demolished. The Whizzer at the California Marriott park was demolished. Anything can go at anytime without you knowing regardless of cost.

@@gotchagee3315 They took down the Roaring Rapids sign and it hasn’t been running all season. Let’s see what happens with that. That was a high cost also. You can only keep things going for so long. Sky Whirl, Tidal Wave, Orleans Orbit, Southern Cross, Rolling Thunder, Splash Waterfalls, The Pictorium, The Hay Bailer, The Yukon Yahoo, The Cajun Cliffhanger, Eagles Fight and Delta Flyer, Iron Wolf, The Ragin Cajun, Buccaneer Bay. @@The-You-Doober I really don't understand why you have to keep repeating yourself when I have already agreed to most of what you have said. Is there some side argument that I am unaware of? Money is the determining factor of EVERYTHING. Again, if money was put into it, a good chance its go to stay FOR A WHILE. For how long? Who the hell knows. What you have stated for defunct rides they stopped putting money into before closing them the next season maybe two. The Demon had low number of riders back when I was a teenager in the early 90s and yet it still is here. You have forgot a big part of GA during the Marriott days that I remember. Well tomorrow we will hear the parks announcement at 11 am. 👍 I noticed that Roaring Rapids is closed and the sign was taken down. Maybe they have pump problems and are just going to remove that attraction also. They have to tear up concrete probably to repair. They would be better off building a new coaster there instead. Let the water stuff go in the water park.🤷🏻‍♂️

@@stevenlgreco what I use is not classified as a camera. I use nothing hand held. And it’s not detectable. A camera is everything else but the lens. Im using a lens.

@@RollerCoasterManiac2020 Ridership has been low for decades. I’ve had a season pass since 1976 when Marriott opened it. You walk right up without waiting always. Thats low ridership.

@@The-You-Doober yes, it has always been low. I’ve talked to a couple ride-ops who have said that ever since the addition of Goliath, the ridership has taken a nosedive. My theory is that GA is trying to place a coaster nearby to help boost the ridership. Kinda like SS boosted Eagle’s ridership a little bit

@@RollerCoasterManiac2020 The workers on the ground level don’t know what’s going on in the back. Even the park director is limited what they can say to anyone. Everything is always a secret. And they change park directors like they change CEO’s. Ive talked to them in St. Louis and Gurnee.🤷🏻‍♂️

@@henrydavid1691 If you look at a satellite view of the area. They could repurpose all that land from the Go Karts in Yukon Territory all the way to the Demon to put up something big. Right now Southwest Territory is a bypass. It could be the main park loop like it was going past the Demon before Southwest was built.

@@henrydavid1691 Amusement parks have to keep evolving. Or they go defunct. The Demon was there long enough. Longer than many other coasters. They never invest in fixing the lights in the tunnel. I feel there is more than meets the eye. Buccaneer Bay was a flop. It probably would have had better success if they built it in the water park.

I sense that that section of the park will get a change eventually. Always remember that everything with a beginning has an end. This coaster is not protected like the Whizzer and Batman is. Between where the go cart is in Yukon Territory all the way through Buccaneer Bay to the Demon is a chunk of land that could be repurposed. And they could possibly reroute every visitor around through Southwest Territory and eliminate that old part of the loop before Southwest Territory was built. Parks have to evolve.🤷🏻‍♂️

@@carter.bruley Or cross over towards the Demon. The Demon is 48 years old. The company that built the Demon was Arrow Dynamics. The company went defunct in 2002. It was the same company that built Shockwave. I think Demon is going. The red train is missing. I only see 2 trains, the black, and the yellow one. Running out of parts like Viper at Six Flags Magic Mountain. Ill have a Demon video up in a couple hours that I did this morning.👍

@@hyperchronicxlc Micro Technology. Front row. And yes, Raging Bull is considered a hyper coaster or a strata coaster. It’s 202 feet tall. Smaller than Cedar Points but still. In different areas of the country you have height restrictions because of nearby airports etc. Height is regulated on the circumstances. Raging Bull goes a little underground to keep the height below the restriction. Laugh all you want.

You called Raging Bull (a hyper coaster) a strata (which is only coasters exceeding 400ft) and that has nothing to do with local building regulations. Maybe you’re confused and referring to the height building restrictions of the area around Great America due to its proximity to the local airport. But that is still a weird thing to bring up to explain why you called a hyper a strata. They are not the same thing. 2.
