So the young guy who was send by a Buddhist monk who looked after him, because the guy was a heavy beaten child put from one care home, and from one family to the next where he again and again embrace the same shit to be beaten up, so when the question arrives at him he sunk into the chair and said he receive money from the Government, and in a second Ramesh rushed forward like a Cobra and hurled the words at him: "The moment you hold the money in your hands it is your money!° It happend in the small room stuffed with people, I think it was 2001 so Ramesh had teeth in his mouth and he was a kind of loaded, out of some nowhere. Everybody had his moment with this, maybe Nisargadattas spirit snicked around the corner and only at night I cried tears. Tears of a thank God silent shattered heart. Love you all, thank you Paul!

About 40 years ago I had what was called a mental breakdown in L.A. My mom and brother drove down to get me at my Aunt's house. My brother told me later that I was free associating. He said he and my cousin had to leave the room to laugh because it was so hilarious. As I was getting better I studied to figure what happened. I wanted to understand because I feared this was something that I was because that is how people saw it. At 1:16 you said Paul, that Ramana M. Said follow all the strings back to where you already are. It reminded me of free associating. I have listened to people who were free associating. Next to my mother's house there is a house where people with mental issues stay to get well. I have sat and listened to people free associating and realized that they were doing what my mind automatically did during my episode years ago. I called it " unraveling" the mental jumble of thoughts. When I was unraveling my mind my brother told me that I was saying "I am black and white, I am an oreo cookie, I am a chocolate chip cookie, I am... I was unraveling my identity; who I thought I was. Trying to figure out, how did I get here? When I hear people free associating I know what they are doing, their mind is desperately attempting to unravel and get back to before all the mess happened in the identified jumble of thoughts that got all associatively tangled up in this crazy world where no one tells you what Paul is telling you. That NONE of those thoughts is you. That is why this teaching brings such peace, relief and sanity. Years ago, after I had a pretty good idea of why I went through what I went through, I read thousands of books and teaching many workshops to help people live better lives. I have studied the mind with a passion. Because I understand what happened with me I never had another episode. Today, I listen to satsang all the time. I love knowing that my identity is indescribable. it is freeing me from past and future identities. I recently have been using a skillfull means that I feel is soaking into an unconscious habit that feels so good. I am getting to the point of just having the experience without thinking. " I am not only not interested in what I might think of me, I am not interested in what I might think that someone else might think of me." This being is freeing me of my past mental identity prison. What the gentleman who shared about his mother pinged associatively in me is: I have watched many documentaries on cults where the leaders/gurus ended up abusing the follwers by the followers mentally making the leaders into all knowing powerful beings that have all the followers answers so the followers deny their own intuitions for the sake of holding up the mask of the guru to the point that they are so subservient that they give up all their money, time, resources, labor and lives to the guru and no one is communicatingvwith each other aboutt the abuses they are oersinally experiencing. Why I love listening tio Paul is that he does not make himself the guru. He literally teaches to negaye the mentally manufactured self "Paul" the action hero amd fir everyone to do the same. He does not profess to be better or " enlightned" dog shit awareness. In these cult documentaries it occured to me that when the abuses were announced and the cult divided, what the people would miss most is the shared people community. The love they had for each other. Humans are social beings, we like to enjoybeach others company. When we can come together without hierarchy or one all knowing decider we can create social connections that are life affirming. So thank you for your nessage and for letting us know it is not about knowledge, but knowing and its not about the messenger, but the message, negate all, Im not that. ❤ One more Interesring point about the onion where there is nothing in the middle, it reminds me of the movie " Mindwalk" with John Heard, Liv Ullman and Sam Waterston. A physicist described how everything is mostly space. ❤

Love your teachings Paul, In quantum physics there is a phenomena called "The observer effect" it says that particles will move according to who is doing the observing of them. That the observing itself changes what is being observed. In my 61 years of life I have observed that no matter what philanthropic mission statements are professed in organizations, groups, corporations, people and causes human beings tend to mess it up whether by selfish desires or, unconscious blind spots. As consistent as you are Paul Hedderman, as powerful as this non-dual message and your loss of interest in seeing from "Paul' you still refer to men as " bro" and to women as " honey " and " sweetheart." If non-duality causes one eventually to see in a way that is from a sense that negates everything that is "of self." Then a demonstration of that seeing, I would think, would come from an inner system that refers to everything and everyone without uneven labels, there would be an equal seeing of everyone. It seems to me that generally when men share on this channel they share more confidently and generally( not always) women question with less of a confidence, more self consciousness, tentatively and with apology. Who can say that this is because women are generally raised in our culture to serve out for the sake of others and men are raised to be more confident or that the term " bro" and the terms "Hon or sweetheart" may have a subtle observer effect on those who are observering this channel. This is a subtle effect but non duality, I might think, would drop labels if it is coming from a seeing with duality of object, subject. Just a contemplation that arose from years of listening to you, Paul, and loving the freedom in ( your teaching).I say " your" instead of non-dual because I see this one dual consistency in your human teaching in particular because how you are showing consistently this way that you are referring to people does not sound non-dual to me. ❤ Like you said at the start " Nothing has changed, though I do think that your satsangs are getting more clear, these referrals to gender remain the same over time. A curious question, "If one was to demonstrate a reference to others that was truly non-dual how might one refer to all men, women, the them and theys and non gender identified people? Would not a non dual consciousness not only forgive their identification of (my) self but also be seeing and referring to others through non dual senses and so see no one else from a program? You yourself has said "Render unto Ceaser what is Ceasars." Would not gender distinctions in your referencing be something to negate? Maybe addressing people as their names, as you do but adding "NOT Sarasvati" and NOT Emma" or whoever may have a question as an example of freeing one of past programmed associations? The bro and hon/sweetheart seems to me as a " Paul Hedderman style" and not necessary to the non dual teachings but consider the possibility that it may actually be antithetical to the teachings and may not be inviting or even possibly be un-inviting to those who do not wish to be referred as one or the other? Thanks Paul from Zurich. The thought occurred to me that the body is ‘real’ and the dead body is ‘real ‘. They are real ‘concrete’ things. The ‘existence ‘ is ephemeral , not of the concrete but yet in it. I know this is like the opposite of what you are saying but I think it’s the same. 😅
