Love their music, wow! But what do they think about how their mothers feel about their lifestyles now. Are the mothers proud of their daughters actions?
@50zezima Жыл бұрын
If any mother judges and doesn't love someone based on their lifestyle decision, that only shows that they don't understand or care about the pain that their child is going through. You are not beyond anyones own pain enough to understand better than them as to how to deal with it. The Bible doesn't teach you anything about how to deal with unreciprocated love, which is what you are describing. Why do you think a person takes drugs? You think that they do it to hurt the people around them? That's a far off way of thinking and will get you nowhere in life. I come from a family who did just what you are describing. I can say without a doubt that they are dealing with the consequences to this day of those decisions. I can tell you for sure that they never did anything to help me grow as a person. Blindly believing in a God or a book because some stranger told you to, is the same thing as shooting up a needle believing that it will take you away from the experience and memories that you've went through. Neither of those are the solution to anyone's problems. Be kind. be loving. Be accepting. and mostly, be UNDERSTANDING. that is the solution to all of your problems. Not judging a person because you view there decisions as sins.

I was hoping they would make the connection to that old George Strait song.

I really think that this is about Miranda. She is the she, and not Cheyenne. Cheyenne is just used as a reference to a place where something went wrong. If you listen to the song and think of Cheyenne being a place and Miranda being the girl it makes perfect sense.

From the start, my heart understood what this song was about . I’ve lived this song . For so long I tried to fix my brother but I can’t . Currently he is in jail and I’m thankful because hopefully this will be his chance to get off of meth .

This album is, by far, the best-written album by the Annie's. It shows their growth as women and as a band. There hasn't been a day that has gone by that I haven't listened to it since it's been out.
