Dr Luke has become a TERRIBLE producer. He simply has no imagination at all. If this album tarnished Katy Perry's legacy, she still can recover by releasing a decent project next time, but the game is over for him.

My theory is that this is the original demo with Vaughn Oliver before Dr Luke was ever involved and eventually he reworked the song. It very much has his strong influence, and he is generally a great producer (see a lot of good Kim Petras songs, especially Halloween album Turn Off The Light). I still want to give Katy the benefit of the doubt because we know nothing about her contracts and shes worked with him since she signed with Capitol. And now the lawsuit is 'settled' maybe the contract still applies.

Here’s what eliminates the possibility that this was real: The first verse sounds exactly like the snippet/official version, however the second verse sounds shaky and AI-generated. If this was real, the second verse would have sounded just like the official version, so basically whoever did this took the snippet (first verse) and built a track around it.
