This game is a ton of fun and I only scratched the surface in terms of content and game mechanics. If you're able to, I highly recommend anyone try the game out.

It reminds me of Sekiro's combat which is one of my favorites. Can't wait to play it soon.

I played through the entire demo without seeing this show up on Chadley's mission board. Plus, this fight didn't show up until I completed every mission out in the field. That sounds pretty hidden to me, unless you had a different experience.

They didn't have to flex that hard, but I'm glad they did.

That's a fair point. To give some perspective, they scrapped the game after a few years into development, so they pretty much had to start from scratch(as far as I know). I don't mind the party swap since this is the first game in a potential series and their going to be updating the game overtime. Who knows, they might add that mechanic later on, but for now, I'm just enjoying what we got.

Still its annoying so many cool characters i want to switch back and forth all the time. Obviously can't be done in coop. But hopefully they implement in battle chara yet switching later on.

how would swapping work in a combo heavy game like you would swap in mid combo and just drop the combo all the time. Tales of arise worked though i guess but it didnt really have combos per say either. Would be a cool feature i guess@@jakeryan2805

Not really fan of switch character. Even on PGR I still use 1 character to clear the mission. I just consider this as MH, instead of weapon it's a character with unique playstyles.

@@monkey3101 First off I never said Siegfried wasn't better it's debatable. They both have really good dp's, pressure, and fireballs(I personally think Siegfried's is better.) As for Nier, you can see what moves she's going to use based on the cards. If you can react or anticipate their block string, you're able to interrupt it with a jab or medium, etc.

For me personally I'm a fan of Pinocchio and dark theme video games(Bloodborne, dark souls, etc). Has callbacks to fan favorites like MGSR, Sekiro, One Piece and others. Also, it reminds me of Sekiro's combat, but not as fluid since we're dealing with robots/puppets, which fits the narrative. It's one of those cases where you should try it out for yourself.

Okay cool thanks for the advice. But, the only problem I have (for now at least) is the sun crest is blocked off by Dark Bahamut, since I didn't get it after beating Yunalesca. I'm working on everyone else for now, and grinding at OR(Omega Ruins).

@@LuckyRoooyt Yeah, I had that happen once before too and it sucks because Tidus is such a good character for endgame. I ended up having to use Yojimbo and got lucky with Zanmato. You could also build your own weapon for him. You get one free use of Damage Break on weapons, you need Dark Matter and you'll get enough when you complete the Monster Hunting.

They're considered to be the hardest bosses in the game right? If so, it'll feel great once I beat em.

@@LuckyRoooyt Acutally, Penance is the hardest boss in the game, and you can fight against him ONLY after you've beaten all the Dark Eons In order to beat all the Dark Eons and all the enemies from the Monster Arena, you should have your stats at 200 at least (255 would be better)...you can reach these stats by replacing all the nodes on the Sphere grid with the +4 spheres that can be obtained in the Monster Arena by beating certain enemies..... It's a pain in the ass, but it's the only way to beat the uber bosses... For now, i suggest to farm exp like hell in the Omega Ruins....once you have 9999 hp, you should start to create your own armor with these passives: Break HP Limit - Ribbon - HP +30% - Autohaste About the Celestial Weapons, you should get at least 3 of them in order to have 3 active party members that can deal massive damage beyond 9.999 (i suggest Tidus, Auron and Rikku) Make sure to get 30x Wings to Discovery and 99 x Dark Matter per armor in order to get Break HP Limit and Ribbon...without these two passives, it's impossible to beat a single Dark Eon You can buy empty armor (with no passive on it and 4 slots) from Wantz at the exit from Macalania Woods into Thunder Plains Good luck 😁

Not really a bug. It's just that you have to defeat him five times in a row. You may also just do the first fight, leave, come back, do the first fight again for as long as you wish. Only, the first fight is always an ambush. He drops armor with Break HP Limit (if you are interested in that) and Ribbon as well. If I remember correctly, monsters are more likely to drop equipment for the party member that killed it, but I'm not too sure. Been a long time. Even then getting multiple 4-slot equipment with exactly what you want can be a grind. A different source for Dark Matter is Shinryu from the Monster Arena. It's a rare drop, but a much easier and quicker fight. It's the source I used, because I think by the time I was strong enough to farm Yojimbo, I didn't need Dark Matter anymore anyway, since Shinryu is a possibility much earlier. (Never used Zanmatou on anything.)

It's not a bug....Dark Yojimbo spawns 5 times in 5 locations....if you skip the fifth location and go outside the cave, he will spawn other 5 times....it's one way to farm Dark Matters....another method is to beat enemies from the Monster Arena...there's a chance to get 1 or 2 Dark Matter per kill, but i'ts a slow method....

@@HassanAli-bq6nx I actually played this Eddie for a bit, but I condensed the video and b2,1 was my best friend throughout the set. I'll keep that in mind next time and thanks for the advice.
