i have five tp-link wall switches and four tp-link smart plugs on my work bench in the basement ....none of these pieces of junk would stay connected to wifi ..all my wemo equipment is great ..tp is junk .

I’ve tried setting mine up many times now snd when it gets to the step to select the decide WiFi (tp_link or something of that sort) no WiFi name for the plug shows on the list.. any idea of why this could be or any advice

*Awesome product! **do7.pl/smart** Automatically locks when I leave and unlocks when I arrive. I can check from bed or vacation to see that it is locked AND or closed. I can also setup access codes and monitor who comes and goes as well as when. It looks nice against my dark brown door(black lock) and I can see how silver would look nice too. A white one would be perfect for my other doors. Easy to install in 15-20 minutes with a screwdriver.*

When comparing this bulb to Philips Hue in particular for use of setting a gradual wake up lighting, is there a significant reason to choose one over the other for the money? Thanks

As I’m new to these locks and just bought a Ver 2 used, I’m a bit confused. I see that yours, which I think is a Ver 2, does not come with the door sensor and bridge. Maybe Ver 3 does. So, are the major differences that: You will not know if the door is actually latched when it locks for Ver 2? That this, for whatever reason, does not need a bridge and, if so, how is it that the newer ones need a bridge and the old ones don’t? Again, I don’t know how accurate my questions are but, I just want to make sure I got the right thing. I bought this, specifically, so that if I have to travel, someone can come in and feed my cats. But, if I can’t operate this remotely from my phone or I have to worry that someone merely “thinks” they latched the door and my cats get out, I won’t likely be happy with this. Any advice is helpful.

Experiencing same problems as you’re demonstrating. I’m really at Belkin/Wemo. Usually they have very good, easy to use product. The setting of it’s own wifi and trying to bring it into Google’s Ecosystem is ludicrous. “Never the Two shall meet”. Help.

Great video..I just subbed..I was thinking of getting this lock..On older houses where there has been settling, sometimes the lock drags a bit. Is the lock motor strong enough to compensate, or is there something that can be done to correct this?
