For the glass, better and longer lasting than Rain X, get a decent car buffer and fine car polish. It's a trick an old timer gave me when he saw me detailing my car. There's lots of people on you tube that have done it as well.

Hey quick question, my clutch is not engaging anymore. Do you think it could have anything too do with the clutch actuator (clutch arm attached cable)? Or is it 99% of the time coming from the clutch plates/basket ?
@resurrectmoto78902 жыл бұрын
Not engaging like the bike won’t move in gear ? Or you talking about the clutch not disengaging?
@MtzMedia-vr6th2 жыл бұрын
@@resurrectmoto7890 like when I hold the clutch in, it still feels in gear like it’s as if I don’t have the clutch in at all. I’m assuming it’s my plates or basket. Going too be pulling the casing apart soon too see if the clutch pack is just bad. But very odd it happened after my clutch cable snapped and i replaced it. Maybe I damaged the actuator/arm when installing
@numbzinger3502 жыл бұрын
Perhaps you could replace the plastic clip with an aluminum one. Bend a clip-shaped piece of aluminum of the correct thickness and screw it to the hand guard. The aluminum won't harm the spring and the screw will keep it in place. With the correct thickness it should also position the guard in it's original location. I really like your Reflex guards combined with the XPS lever assembly and knuckle guard gloves. Nice combo.

Great setup mate. How much did the cabinets cost to have made?
@resurrectmoto78904 жыл бұрын
I had the cabinet fabricated up for $2100 for one and $2500 for the other. This is just the cabinet no electrics or plumbing. I did the plumbing and electrical myself. Total cost was about $4500 Canadian dollars each. I used all high end parts and didn’t cheap out. Way cheaper than buying from a company that sells them and the size is way larger. I built bigger units for way less money than purchasing from a company that sells them. If you can find a company to fabricate the cabinet and do the plumbing/electrical yourself that’s the way to go.

My 125x Mikuni had float height set very high (~6mm). Reset to 8mm (Spec 8.7mm +/- 1mm). A lot of bogginess comes from that.
@resurrectmoto78904 жыл бұрын
My buddy rejetted his and got it working pretty good and better mileage. The lectron is much better though as it self adjusts for any temperature and elevation.
@leroywilliams72104 жыл бұрын
@@resurrectmoto7890 yes, technically all carbs self adjust to elevation. It’s the atmospheric pressure in the float bowl from the vent hoses that helps. Less pressure = less force at higher altitudes where less fuel is needed. Recently traveled to UT with my KTM 300 and rode to 11,000 feet with only an adjustment to the air screw. Same jetting I use at home 500’-6,000’ 👍🏻

Without getting too personal, can I ask your approximate height and weight. I am really drawn to a YZ 125 X as a woods bike that can run the track too, but a few folks have suggested that at 6'2" and 210 lb ish with some extra covid weight that I should go for a 250 and not the 125 X.
