In 2023, I read A LOT of romance novels for research, Amy Hutton's 'Sit, Stay, Love' was my absolute favourite. I've grabbed my copy of "Love from Scratch' and can't wait to dig in.

We just named our son Murtagh after the settler who got the land grant for Liverpool, and today when I told the midwife why we chose that name she said she read about him in this book! What a coincidence! Descendants of Brian Boru, the last King when Ireland was united 💚

Unfortunately, Anna Funder's book "Wifedom" trashes the reputation of one of history's greatest writers, George Orwell, based on what she admits is a combination of biographical research and her own self-created fiction, as well as judging a man from 100 years ago by contemporary standards and suggesting this is his character fault. Unfortunately, people will then just take this half-truth as proof Orwell was bad.

Stan just finished your book and found it to be 284 pages of you wallowing in self pity, victimhood and excuses. Yes aboriginals were treated horribly, but currently are showered in benefits, grants a never ending list of special programmes. Reckon your grandfather would tell you to wake up to youtself and make the most of the opportunities currently offered to your people?

How many Tom Pitts are there? It's all a complete mess. But your songs did well on this thing. I told you once. Bookstores are not like rock concerts. And I'm jealous that you got a publishing deal and I've been left to work through emotional refuge.

Thank you Donald!!! I caught NFA at the Gaso last week - been a fan many years and love the film but never seen them live so i had high hopes... wow! they certainly delivered... The atmosphere at the show was the most electric and positive ive ever felt - pure magic... I bought your book and am reading it now... it's an amazing achievement. I can't fathom how much work it must have been for you... but what a result! massive respect to all. One love!
