Appreciate this! But struggling with something here... Is there a way to configure EAC so emails ONLY associate with the record that the email was sent from - or if an email comes in without any context it can just sit on the Contact record's activity timeline (and, again, not be on any related records like the Opportunities). I have followed countless tutorials and have been skimming through any SF help article that mentions EAC. I'm not seeing anything about turning off this overly-aggressive association, but (even more frustratingly) I can't even find anything that tells me that I can't do this. Would greatly appreciate any insight!

Opportunity is an object that can be imported by organizations that have API access using Data Loader. It can also be imported using Data Import Wizard for Essentials Edition organizations only. So, if you've got a Professional license with API, or higher, you can use Dataloader.

You'll do the import from the Setup menu, not from the lead records or lead List view. Just click on the gear icon in the upper right to enter setup, then use the quick Find box and search for Data Import Wizard. Once there, just follow the instructions on screen.

Hi @meggie, are you using Sales Cloud only? Or are you using any additional products for your event management? Without understanding the complete picture, Importing your leads and adding them as Campaign Members to a campaign specific to your event would be a way to organize them by event. Alternatively, you could simply use a custom field on the lead object but this may make tracking multiple events difficult to scale down the road. Awesome video and super helpful. Is there any way to run reports on this? I just set our org up. These fields are awesome, but any fix for "show me all the calls made month over month for xyz rep." missing out on some of the regular reporting.

You can use the text to reference an image URL, for example, make your text snippet “image.com/your-pic.jpg” then use that in your marketing assets

Hi Shiva, as long as your Mulesoft listener doesn’t require headers and works with a query string this will work. In the current version JSON body isn’t supported, so any values being passed need to be including in the URL as a query string

Hi - I set this flow up in our sandbox and notice that when I change any field on the opportunity another contact role is added, duplicating the original contact role. How do I change the flow so it only runs when the Primary Contact custom field changes? Other thank that this is a great work around. Thanks!

I figured out a work around. I wrote two flows - one to update contact role on create and another to change contact role when primary contact is changed.

Hi Stjepan, yes! this happened to me as well. Initially, it's tricky but helpful to understand that Marketing App Extension is an Object in Salesforce. When you're working within the Marketing App Extension Page, select 'Edit Object'. That will take you to the Object Manager for 'Marketing App Extension'. From the 'Page Layout', you can add the fields, and related Lists. 'Action Types' is the newer 'related list' that you will likely need to add from this page. Let me know if this helps!

How do you ADD the custom task field to the activities timeline view on the account?? We have a new field (resolution) that our team would like to see when they hit the task's expand button on the account (which shows a quick summary of the task - not all the fields). How do I get my new custom field on that view?

Hi Meggan, Yes! If you're specifically looking for the ability to send 'available times' via email in salesforce, this functionality is available with Salesforce Inbox, which is an upgrade from the free version of Einstein Activity Capture. With the standard Version of Einstein Activity Capture that is included with your Salesforce licenses, event data should sync, as well as calendar data. Great feedback, Leonard. Thanks for sharing! If you put the tracking code in the header, that is a way to make sure the script loads first (before the rest of the page loads). However, you'll want to be careful with this too many scripts in your header will impact your page speed and could impact your ranking with google. Particularly, depending on how many other scripts you have running in your Wordpress site (there may be a lot of different plugins going on any given page), having control over where you place your additional scripts is critical for how quickly your pages load.
