We need a live album, some of their live performances just completely take their songs to a new dimension. Maria Tambien and this live is ten times better than the studio recording! The faster tempo really changes it. Hard to make two fantastic songs any better than they already are but here we are!

Being a pure music new age lover for 30 year. First discovered this song a few months ago when KZbin randomly suggested it, and I’ve been in love ever since-it's on repeat nonstop. I have a theory: there's always beautiful music waiting for me to discover. Life’s too short not to enjoy every melody.

This sounds like the desert blues rock stuff, is this an American band? Sounds cool but that scale he plays gets pretty repetitive and boxey sounding

Khruangbin is amazing! Anyone who doesn't think that good music isn't still being produced nowadays needs to dig deeper. Domi and JD Beck are another amazingly great band as well.

That blend of middle eastern wailing with the simplistic reggae inspired bass and metronome drumming. One of Khruangbin's absolute best tunes of their catalog.

Mark Speer- When we first started the band, we wanted to have a formula,” he says. “It’s like, ‘This is what we do, and we’re not gonna try and go outside the box too much. We’re gonna explore the box we’re in. I’ve always been a big fan of that. I used to be in bands where was like, ‘Man, we’ve gotta think outside the box!’ And all I’m thinking is: ‘You guys don’t even know.’ Music should never be just for the sake of being experimental. Before you even start, you have to know what you’re experimenting with first.” Love this and yes, in 2024 just discovered these musical geniuses and I’m a better person for it.

Absolutely spot on sentiment. These people are insanely talented. Mark speers remark about pentatonic scales "they get everywhere" (in reference to african guitar players) is very, very revealing. I know which box they are in, it's pentatonic scales. Unbelievable flair, touch and feel. Genius.
