Congratulations that is really good. I suppose seeing as you are controlling it with the PIC you could slow it down as it nears the correct position. Be interesting to know the mechanics of how the stepper motor fits into the Dapol kit, like what brackets did you have to make.

What a wonderful video! No needless commentary or soundtrack just a vicarious real-time ride along the Trail, something I've many times done but sadly am no longer able to. The rider must be super-fit to maintain the pace he does - I wondered if his bike was electric? Sadly the video also showed that cyclist's nightmare - thoughtless dog owners with extending leads. But overall a marvellous 'Blue Remembered Hills' experience.

Hi Jim thanks for your comments. Yes it was a pedal assisted bike and my fitness is not that good. I was tired at the end of it though and held a constant heart rate in the 140's I have done the Tissington trail years ago when I was fitter but enjoyed this one a lot more. Perhaps you should look at electric assisted bikes and get back out on the trails. You will enjoy it.

Hi mate, whats a inav on ZOHD Orbit please.
@Andycap20095 жыл бұрын
Inav is the flight controller software that runs on various after market flight controllers like the Matek F405 wing that i am using. It allows for multiple flight modes and also GPS features like return to home and autonomous flight.

Yea they are great, can't belive the speeds they get up to. My garden is not big enough though to get top speed and need to wait till weather improves to get down the flying field.

Be very careful running the motors at a higher voltage. If you are running two motors at once and a motor jams, stalls or reaches its end stop you may burn a driver chip out on the control board. Ask me how I know ;-)

what kind of sensor is being used to sense the object. thanks.
@Andycap20099 жыл бұрын
kavi priya I do not have a sensor on the gripper. i just rely on setting it for the right grip first. i have since fitted a servo controller to the gripper the same as other axisis so that i can set the gripper to precise positions.
