just got my iphone 16 plus, as its just a bit longer than my xr. but the xr is was a great reliable phone for the 5 years it lasted for me. but its a bit outdated now. would rather recommend buying at least an iphone 12 at this point in time if youre on a budget.

@ i mean if you can get it dirt cheap why not, but if you need to spend an small extra, id say go for the twelve because you can get 5g if you ever feel like it, a better oled screen, better battery, and overall faster phone, go for it. my xr started lagging a tiny bit here and there so yeah :)

I have a 15 ProMax & I’m seriously considering buying one of these phones mainly for the battery life. I’m a heavy user, so the 6,000 mah battery & 100 watt fast charging are the selling points for me.

My problem with OnePlus has only been the ergonomics. Since the introduction of the gigantic camera housing I've not been able to accept it. Other things are the sloppy curves, the thickness, and the height is too tall. The first attraction for a phone is the feel in hand.

What you said about Oneplus 12 problems it may be true to some but for me not the case. The phone is just outstanding. No screen or battery issues whatsoever. I live in Europe btw.

True. I think the oneplus phones are amazing. But if you look online (and even in my comment section) they have some known problems that other people have had happen to them. But the same can also be true for many other phones so i don't want to single the 12 out!

I tried my first OnePlus phone in 2020... The 8T. it started having issues after a week. Display and touch screen. They sent me a new phone. The replacement phone also had display issues after a few days. I went with a different brand after that. I have since heard that the same display issues still plague their phones, including their most expensive phone, the OnePlus Fold. How do you trust a brand after this? The 8T also had some minor lag and stutters right out of the box.

With so many issues, starting from Green line, to updates destroying mother boards. Reports of bad customer service. One has to be really dumb to buy this brand. Are newer OnePlus batteries good over years for heavy users ? I had a OnePlus 7 pro that i was on enough to have to charge it often because KZbin and gaming. After 3 years i got a S23 ultra and noticed the OP7pro battery on stand by wasnt even lasting a day and a half .....i would have to guess mayve i had a bad battery or is this common. I waiting for OnePlus 13 and S25 ultra to decide on my next phone and hoped someone had some insights.

I can assure you that yes....I'm a heavy user myself and I can not kill my 12. Plus...the fast charging isn't like other companies. When they say 0-100 in 30 minutes...it can happen. I won't go back to Samsung.

@@jacobclark6156 yea I assumed with the bigger batteries and more efficient chips , only other issue was my battery died after 3 years. Wouldn't even be using it and the battery couldnt last a day just sitting there. I do miss that alert slider though 😂

Bro you have NO IDEA what you are talking about 😂 Green line issues came from Samsung AMOLED displays only on older OnePlus devices 🤣 OnePlus uses BOE displays now and NOT 1 single Green line issue 🤷😂

I'm very happy with the performance of my Oneplus 12. I'll probably stick another year with it. For me even the 12 gives 1,5-2 days of battery life😊
