@@AdamJackson-i3z Thanks mate…It was a late booking, and unfortunately the later months were unavailable. The mosquitoes were a problem, I was told that they are particularly bad this year. Good luck in October, and Part 2 will be out next month.

I’m a family man, so I don’t often get out fishing, especially fishing abroad…it may not be an adventure for you, but it is for me.

@@Dayticketcarpfishing €95 gets you a carte de peche you can do a little research and (google earth geo peche etc…) and go wherever you want whenever you want that’s adventure ps I have 5 kids! Long weekends full weeks whatever mate I promise you this much you will never go back to a commercial fishery again

To be fair, we went to Dreamlakes to catch carp not catfish, and it’s the only negative about the whole trip, maybe if we’d booked a different time of the year the cats wouldn’t be so prevalent. We all had a great week, and caught some amazing fish, and would certainly think about booking again. Thanks for your comment, all inputs are welcome, and sorry you didn’t enjoy the vlog, can’t please everyone!!

Farlows wasn't an easy water to fish the coots and moorhens were a problem during the 80s if it hadn't been for the bream and silvers would of blanked many times. Was a member of boyers until around about 92 it looks so much better layed out now. Have had many great memories there as well as little Britain the rivers frays and Colne ❤

Bet that place was busy not overly keen on places like that competing against anglers and having people out buckets in swims behind you,I prefer public lakes that don’t get busy as people are fishing linear or other waters and I also like the canals when you don’t see many people especially carpers

If your fishing on the rivers or canals yer I would say you need a rod licence but if you a fishing on a private club or fishery I would say no you don't need one as its owned by by someone else not the government i have also been told you don't need a rod licence to fish my local park lake

Thanks for the positive comment. Due to the amount of fish in Willows lake, the water is usually coloured, so the more attraction in your bag, the more fish you’ll bank.
