The hurricane that hit western NC so hard muddied up the whole chain of lakes including Lake James, Rhodhiss, Hickory, Norman, Mountain Island, Wylie, etc. All that muddy water all flows down hill towards the Atlantic. It's going to take time to clear up. You are right about Norman, the creeks are starting to clear.

awesome vid ! my son and me fish Lake Norman all the time for hybrids, perch and spots. He's been really into Bass fishing and doing all sorts of "research" into lures and tactics lol ....I don't really bass fish but I've been finding myself wanting to do more as well. Seeing how you guys hit up the docks and banks looks like a lot of fun. Will probably do that in a couple weeks after our Florida fishing trip this weekend. I've fish Lake Norman for years but only really grown to love the lake more so these last couple years. Just subscribed and look forward to more of your content !

I wish I knew the name of it. its on the Roanoke side, if you pay attention to clues in the video and searched on google maps, its pretty easy to find... all the keepers I caught came within a 100 yard section of that creek

@sprolyborn2554Ай бұрын
@@soaringpenguingaming8646 they're alright. Obviously crappie would be much better but even so. We kind of messed ourselves up culturally when we placed bass on a pedestal as a C&R fish only and that anyone keeping one is guilty of a cardinal sin. We have to break ourselves of this.
