This us the worst hospital in Michigan. I came in for a heart condition. They humiliated me. The physician and her staff took my things even my purse and locked me in a room and over medicated me. I was then given a bogus diagnosis. Malpractice cases take a long time to prove. I have nightmares and wake up screaming. Its like living in twilight zone. Do not come to this hospital with any type of serious condition. You will regret it.

Companions should be allowed to be with the patient for the preoperative care. Some are very afraid of insertions of IV and may need the companion there to calm them. Also, the companion can help the patient asked needed questions. After surgery, the companion should be allowed to briefly visit the patient a few times. This helps the patient to be calm, seeing a person they know and trust.

Companions should be allowed to go with the patient for the first part of pre-operative care to give comfort and security to the patient. Remember, the patient might be afraid and naturally, their companion can help calm that fear, especially concerning insertion of IV's, not the medical staff. Companions should be allowed in the Phase 1 recovery room. They are the ones who the patient trusts and feels calm around and can be helped to stay calm. The medical staff can't really do this.

Trinity health should NOT GET tax exempt status just because they use religion to avoid paying taxes on the billions of $ that they make. I think the IRS should look into this bogus religious excuse for not paying taxes. Trinity health is actually even listed on the NYSE.
