The currency is leva. Property is however normally priced in euro, especially in the cities or tourist areas.

Didn't drink it back in the UK. Do get asked about it quite often so made a bit of a fun video looking for it. I do say all the time it's not Benidorm but alas lots of questions about strongbow and the like. We had a fry up once to make a video last year, it's an annual thing now, we don't eat English style here ever. Have set out to film a Sunday roast several times, after getting asked for that a lot but we never did, ordered something we liked a lot more, not something we would want to eat, as we live here and love Bulgarian food and drink.

Those for children with old ladies, then the black ones for the party people later at night with pretty girls. There are two balloons here.

It's grown a bit, we looked at apartments here 9 years ago but more restaurants and places open now.

Prices continue to rise here. The demand is huge now with few good apartments for sale. This is a very quiet place.

Prices are huge , Susan thinks they are Sol Mer , I forgot the name to be honest. Yes prices are eye watering, couldn't believe those small houses. They are on a couple of sites but I didn't notice the name, artist impressions don't draw my attention much.

And you know the owner of them. 127 units going in. With prices up to 120 leva for a 2 bed . Abously ridiculous. And owner has no mortgage. Paying cash for everything. Says he doesn't carebif they sellbor not

Quite a bit will, have been chatting to some business owners last week and looks like they are opening a couple of weeks earlier than normal this year so may will be better.

We are poor pensioners 😃😃😃. Thank you, I had a new top end pc built for me in Burgas and I can a lot more now. Just had a new sound system last week in my studio and this was the first edited with it and I can improve that too now

Brits are a minority tourist here in Bulgaria, they therefore don't pander to them with pints of bitter and Sunday roasts. However, for those willing to try something a bit different it's really nice. Wouldn't ever say swap Benidorm for this.

That's funny, being retired in my 60's but when looking for seagull quotations got angry birds etc not anything about Jonathan.

The outer areas start closing around the 15th as we showed in our videos last year. The central bars and restaurants stay really good till the end of September. Nobody knows about the weather

We showed it in a video a couple of weeks back. Looks a mess with no front on it. Will mention it but not a lot to say, it was rented, the landlord wanted it back. Sorry that you lost a favourite bar, was mine a couple of years back but avoided it last season, liked Christmas of course, never got to know the new staff, they all left last year, but it wasn't somewhere I would have gone this year at all. I could do a video explaining why but I don't do shock, negative films and I have to give respect to James for times past.

It has gone, the hotel has changed owners and will be refurbished and upgraded and the bar didn't fit with the new image or clientele.

Many people liked it in there

Many will be disappointed though personally we didn't go in there for most of the last season , it had in previous years been a favorite bar we used. I think this was not a surprise to them, it had not been improved or updated in any way for several years .

I had good times in past years, didn't use it for most of last year, not surprised by the news at all. It needs a total refit, rebuild from ground up toilets , paving areas etc was getting a bit of a mess when you looked at it. Probably they knew last season as it became a different experience for many like myself.

Who would, it got busy and noisy late on when some guests would like to have a quieter experience. We know hotels who rent out the bars but they have to cut the noise after 11pm, that would kill the Iglika.

Really nice local win, home made so no additives. Very tasty , couldn't wear gloves filming and it was really cold. Today we have been out working in the garden in warm sunshine.

A few speak English, sign language , a few gestures and we get on fine. We wanted to live somewhere that was fully year round and a proper community.

They protect it, they upset some correct people in the E U as not always accepting of doctrines issued if there is a clash with their tradition.

We love being at home as such. In the season we do a couple of nights a week in the resort but love the 15 minute drive back to our other life.

The wine was fantastic, not like the Christmas supermarket specials in UK, not spicy just hot. Local wine no additives either. Guys dance as well here, everyone joins in, there were some guys dancing at times.

The sausages were tasty, really meaty as well. Yes it was freezing with snow flurries.

It's why we have an apartment in rose residence not far away. In winter it's the best area for businesses being open. We don't go out much in winter, normally a day out at Burgas at it is busy and lively.

That closed end of September, opens in April again

The aqua parks closed between first and second weeks of September as the schools go back here. The funfair is around the same time.

You made a good choice of hotel. We live September as it's still warm but not manic. We came once then bought an apartment a second time, just lived it, especially the people.
