Man alive, it’s like the coolest guy talking to the straightest up tight pair of 90 year olds. It’s like a Harry Enfield sketch. Hats off to Gaz for getting through this unscathed

Why is it whenever this pair of interviewers (is it the same two every time?) interview anyone with talent, they always behave like a pair of morons?

11 months later and I just can say dreams do come true. I saw Sampha two times last year. It were some of the most beautiful moments in my life. Just want to let you know, if you believe, things happen the way you wish for :)

I am a yank. I bought "I Should Coco" and was floored. I played that album to every person I came across. I said Supergrass where the punk rock Beatles. Then they released another great record where they grew so much "In it for the money". Most people today do not know this. A dive into Gaz's background is worth it. Supergrass were incredible and a touchpoint for his solo work.

Supergrass's not famous in the US. If fate was different and they'd ridden the second British Invasion in the 80s they'd have been well known here. So many genres in the 80s and great groups came over and hit the charts. Culture Club, Duran Duran, Thompson Twins, Tears for Fears, Rick Astley, etc. Now rap and hip hop is big. I like all kinds of music that aren't about misogyny and hate. Coombes comes across as a good family man. I'd go see them if they toured here. Good music.

Trust me. He always makes me cry. I can't help it and I'm someone that grew up being told to suck it up, don't cry, walk it off, all that. But since losing my only parent, my mother, in 2021 due to cancer, his voice and choice of words bring me to tears every single time. He just avoided that emotion in me. He's special. Truly special human. No other artist has done this, this consistently.
