Nah , ring an Australian wrecking yard , Ford Australia built factory 2V heads like this with bolt on alloy intakes , only $250 Aussie and $150 Aussie freight to US , or you can bolt the later Aussie Cleveland style head on , cross flow head , will bolt on any 144.170 , 188, 221, 200 or 250 , all the valves and moving parts are Cleveland 2V so parts in US easy to get , they came in alloy and had factory multi point injection, same cantered valves as Cleveland V8

Which 40 series flowmasters did you use. " Sounds killer " Thanks

I think it was the original 40 series. I installed them back in the late 90's . I like them a lot better than the turbo mufflers I used to run on it.

Don't you want some splash guards in those wheel wells? That is a beautiful blue paint job and you must spent a pretty penny on it so don't you want to protect it? Really nice build other wise, now are you running an O/D transmission? I live in SoCal and in summer time gas goes up to $4/gallon.

@@100Aces And, particularly in this case, really nice to look at. I'll have to take your word on bulletproof, though. My appreciation for them is such that I have never taken a shot at one, even with a pellet gun. Sometime it seems that when car companies come out with something really good, they discontinue it.

@adamcousins24594 жыл бұрын
@@TheThirdWheel618 Won't break 200 hp without at least a cam. 300hp is near impossible on a street engine budget. You're looking at thousands of dollars just in machine work to get close to 300 from a 300. Nobody realizes just how insanely tiny the head ports are compared to the cylinder capacity. I'm guilty of this myself. The engine just cannot fill the cylinders without serious headwork.
@TheThirdWheel6184 жыл бұрын
@@adamcousins2459 for a 390 ? Or 300 ? ...not sure what your referring to I'm assuming it was the 300 well I had thought of having a spare motor for my 69 F250 Camper special I rebuilt the 390 it has a comp 265 DE cam not wild built but still has 2bbl stock it was rated at 265 HP the 4 BBL 390 was around 325 I have headers as well

@@TheThirdWheel618 Oh my bad, I thought you were talking about building a 300 six cylinder. You should have no problem getting big power out of the 390.
