I basically broke the song up into pieces, and then put it back together piece by piece. I instantly heard a more of a reggae dancehall reggaeton kind of vibe to it so I wanted to highlight it while still staying true to the original concept of the song. If you really dig into the remix, you'll hear that I layered up the bass lines a bit and I layered the bell plucks that you hear as well.
