Rod's autobiography- they'd all hit the pub across from the BBC dragged John Peel and themselves back for the show recording just in time. Still, great music for those listening to the radio! Rod and John great friends, Rod even went to his wedding.

I am sitting opposite my good friend, James Harpham at this moment - one of the three musicians in this group. The photograph of James Hampton is, I assume, a mistake.

His views after having loads of prog bands on his show and championing prog for years. Mind you, his recollection of his own class roots was also apparently pretty hazy by this stage.

Nice seeing this on line after all these years. My band Myormay had only been together for a year and somehow our manager Amanda who worked at the arena managed to get us on the telly interviewed by the legendary John peel! Unforgettable experience. Didn’t really appreciate what a huge opportunity it was at the time and didn’t make the most of it. But not bad for a benefits leaching asylum seeking Vietnamese refugee from boro! Different time in the 90s, everyone was more open minded to diversity and inclusiveness. All gone backwards since then.
