excuse me sir, in the first place thanks for this enriching video. Could you please clarify the difference between a lexeme and a morpheme?
@LEL20204 күн бұрын
First, I am very sorry to delay in response. I was terribly busy. Second, thank you very much for your compliments. Now back to discuss your question. As for lexeme, it is a unit of lexical meaning. It underlies a set of words such as “eat, ate, eaten.” A lexeme is deprived of any inflectional endings. Morpheme has inflectional endings. Hope you get it.

@LEL202014 күн бұрын
Welcome! You are right but languages don’t belong to individuals. I think I can understand Arabic, a little bit of French, Urdu and Hindi too. As for English, it’s my bread and butter. It’s in my blood and soul. Thanks 👍🌹

Hello, TYSM for your series of English linguistics, I truly love it! I just discovered your channel a few minutes ago, and now I immediately like it! I'm studying English linguistics right now, and currently taking Introduction to English linguistics as one of my subjects. I'm pretty confused about morphology vs. syntax as my lecturer didn't explain the difference between it clearly. Then, I saw your video and it helped me a lot! Btw, I very like your Psycholinguistics and Neurolinguistics playlist! I hope to see more of your videos about those topics!

Thank you so much for your liking my channel and appreciating my sincere efforts. Glad to know that some of my videos made your concept clear. I will continue to serve my beloved audience like you in a much better and enlightened way. Your words mean a lot to me. 👍❤️🌹

This class is amazed, u explained well and i found your video more helpful than others available on youtube. But, here i would like to inform others that this video don't include "Functions of Language" proposed by Sir Jacobson and these Functions are very important. So must study that Functions too after understanding model from here.😊
@LEL2020Ай бұрын
Welcome! Thanks for your beautiful words. "Functions" and "Models" are interchangeably used. Both are having the same objectives to achieve. So, please don't confuse. ❤
