Hi Mark, didn't see any new posts from you lately, how are you doing? Are you still in Japan? I am jealous of you (not in a bad way thou) as it is my childhood dream to visit Japan. Lately, I realised that Japan in 'real life' might be a bit harsh, so knowing it just from 'anime' is waaaay different to the reality. I hope you are doing great, I have no other means to contact you, so I am leaving this comment below. Take care bro <3 Edit: I watched your video, and I can tell that you are now in that sad trap of learning legislations and law of country you live in. I went through that in the UK as well, as I was treated badly on many occasions mainly/only because I am foreigner. It does not matter how long I lived there, it does not matter how much effort I put in learning the language or trying to understand the culture. I am always the 'alien'. On one side I feel very sorry for you that you have to go through that and broaden your horizons in terms of law, on the other hand I am a bit happy about it, because you as a British person, can experience difficulties of living abroad and being surrounded not only by kind and beautiful people but also by sinister and not well-wishing people. The day you come back to the UK (if you will), you would be a great ambassador or counsellor that would not be 'blinded' by anything, as you would clearly understand both points of view, of someone born in the country and someone living in the country as a foreigner. I wish you all the best Mark as I always did, you are a great person, and you deserve a good life. Take it easy man!

I have experienced most of what you said. I disagree that all the English translation is terrible however. I find it sufficient. Great video tho. Thanks 🙏

Haha, just commented on that last video. Yessss, better food labeling!!! When I was still selling trips to Japan and arranging ryokan stays and kaiseki meals, it was always a whole THING to explain to the ryokans what I mean by "they're vegetarian". They would often go, "How about fish? Chicken is vegan right?". I signed the petition!

Is that at Futako-Tamagawa?? I love that station!! I was also pretty disappointed in how hard it is to find veg food! I mean, what the heck are those little salad strips?? I just ended up cooking a lot more than eating out. So happy to hear even Doutor is getting in on this! It's funny you say that they should have more veg options cause I thought that about China when I was living in Beijing!
