Lake George? I think you will find that this lake is not even 100byears old. Villages evacuated and are now submerged, Aboriginals might say that it has a strange name, and it is a cultural place for them, but not so. Don,t believe everything you hear.

I walked along part of the old rail track and found a bridge over a smaller creek not far from the Boomi River bridge. The railway I think was decommissioned in 1975. This is an amazing discovery if you spend the time in the area but not many travellers do.

Thanks so much for watching and commenting. Our scooters are Miniphats (that’s the brand) I love them but unfortunately when the battery runs out you have to walk!! I haven’t had that happen yet but Bernie has. I wouldn’t recommend the company we got them from , absolutely shocking after sales service. The do fold down and fit in the back of our truck. If you watch our video of Darwin you will see Bernie setting it up 😊

Thankyou so much! We try and keep it real, don’t try and be something we’re not. The free camp I’m assuming would be closed now, apparently we were told there was no consultation with the town. Such a shame cause it’s one of the nicest free camps we’ve stayed at

Nice easygoing episode, well done. Interested you were able to camp at the billabong at Camooweal, had heard it had been closed. Only ever see one wedge never in large numbers, think they might be whistling kites!

Beaut casual jaunt around..thanks guys. Them birds were a combination of Brown Falcons, Whistling Kites and Black Kite. All seem to congregate in search of tucker, especially looking for escapees near grass fires. 👍 And by jeez, your a little game crunching around wearing thongs...Never ever wore same during my years way up that way with stock. Happy to see persons traveling out of so called season. Cheers guys, and carry on good vids...Cheers
