Hello, you will take the output from your pickups depending on how you want the pickups to be operating. You can find wiring diagrams for your specific pickups to show you the correct wires to use for single or dual coil. You will take that wire output and connect it to the J-Core screw terminal.

@trickfishamps Isn't everything fixed on the metal plate? My fanned fret for example has more holes. It is pitty so I have to use John east electrics but trickfish is my favourite.

@ The preamp and plate are connected, so you would disconnect your pickups from your current plate mounted preamp, remove that whole assembly, and replace it with a J Core. if your bass has a side mounted jack, you could use the 4 band J Core. If what you have works with another plate based preamp, it will work with the J core. the pickup leads screw into the terminals, regardless of type of pickup.

Hello, we don't have a specific left handed version. This would of course fit on a left handed bass but the turn of the controls would be opposite.

Yes, you could connect to 18v without a problem.

@@trickfishamps If at all possible, would be nice to include a slightly longer battery + - cable on a connector so you can solder it into an existing battery compartment without clipping the existing 9v solderless solution. Very exciting!

@@musematt It tap into an existing battery box you would most likely need to cut and splice as the hole connecting to the battery compartment is probably not large enough for the white 2 pin connector to slide through even if the cables were long enough. The bet thing would be to tap into the existing battery cable that comes with the preamp. If you have any special request then let us know when you order and we are happy to help. I could clip our battery connector and add on longer red and black wires for you to connect with your battery compartment if needed. Thanks!

@@trickfishamps Yeah, what I meant was include a connector with just the wires and not the battery connector end on it; you can run the cables more easily and have a slightly neater run than clipping and resoldering on the shorter end. Either way, I am excited about hearing this when sound samples come on!

Hello. What you would do is run one of the 4 Ohm cabinets off of amplifier 1 and one of the 4 Ohm cabinets off of amplifier 2. This would be two separate 4 ohm loads and would work great.

Hello Rodney. The EPA is simply a switchable active preamp like you would install inside your bass. The pedal gives you a way to make your favorite passive bass active, or add a second EQ sound to your existing active bass. For a full featured preamp I would recommend our Minnow Preamp/DI. That would have input gain and master volume as well as a DI.

it sounds like a HPF/LPF would work great for you while simplifying and offering more control over the parameters you're needing!

A tone roll off could certainly be helpful, but a LP Filter cuts at a much steeper roll off allowing you to remove high end freq very specifically without affecting as many of the frequencies below.

Yeah.. Unfortunately, this may be a difficult design to market simply due to a general lack of knowledge/understanding. Hopefully I’m wrong because this is something that doesn’t really exist in a bass specific stompbox. And because of how extremely useful a HP/LP filter circuit like this can be regardless of whether your amp/bass has the kitchen sink of preamp control/eq filters!

@@lloydster7362 no battery door, but it’s just 4 quick screws to get it opened up. We didn’t want to obstruct the flat surface of the bottom for pedalboard mounting as most guys will mount these to pedalboards and use an external power supply.

Check your output jack. Make sure is not shorting. Try with the output jack out of the electronics cavity.

@@alexanderchristoffel2054 we should have the TF112-Mini cabinet released this week and all the weight and size info will be on the site. Basically it is a few inches taller than the 110 and weighs 29 lbs.
