The transition at 4:42 in and out is just CRAZYYYY. I love it.

I've been trying so hard trying to figure out how he does the bass so clean and tight/loose like that. The limiting is CRAAAZY. :( I've been in cars with subs where you can hear rattle from everyone elses track, BUT HIS. No rattles, nothing. CLEAN! Thank you for sharing!
@liamzeyle428317 күн бұрын
Agreed! His mixes in general are flawless. I mean he has been doing this for almost 3 decades, so it makes sense. But still, I'm impressed every time by how clean it sounds, especially the low end, as you mentioned.

You should send a file download to that project you just worked on, it sounds so sick and I want to look at every little detail of it and maybe even use it in a video! I’ll credit you of course if I put it in a video. 😉😄

How long did it take you
@liamzeyle4283 Жыл бұрын
It took me a few weeks if I remember correctly. Some sounds were a lot more difficult to recreate than others, so I did the easier ones first, and then spent most of the time on the difficult ones. I could have finished it more quickly if I hadn‘t worked on other stuff at the same time, though.

How did you get the DAH sound ??? its been driving me crazy trying to figure it out lol.
@liamzeyle4283 Жыл бұрын
That's actually the sound I struggled with the most. For this remake, I just took a square wave with some FM from another oscillator. However, some time after finishing the remake, I realized it was actually a Serum preset all along - too late though. Go to the leads section and look up "LD Tokyo (BR)", there you go, that's the sound you're looking for :D

@@liamzeyle4283 I am very intrested, But I am interested in that project as well... A lot. Can you at least tell, what should I search in order to find how to do that Bass Sound? I will find on KZbin I guess.. I mean what is in the bass? Automation? The OTT plugin? Do you play with The Macro on Serum ? Also can you tell me what is in the middle part, the Melody? You know the plucked one.. Does it have Delay, that's why it sounds like that? What app is this, I’d like to learn EDM but new to the mechanics and what’s needed. Music keeps me from going over the edge and I’ve been wanting to create my own music but have no clue as where to start
@liamzeyle42832 жыл бұрын
This is a DAW, a digital audio workstation. The one being used in this video is FL Studio from Image Line. However, there are a lot of other DAWs from other companies that are just as good, like Ableton Live (the one I‘m currently using), Pro Tools, Logic (macOS only), just to name a few. It really doesn‘t matter which one you go for. Most of them have free trial versions. Ableton for example has a fully functional 90-day trial which basically has the same options as the pro version. What I‘d recommend is don‘t spend too much money at the beginning, especially when it comes to third-party plug-ins. Just pick up a trial version and play around with it. Regarding the mechanics, there are some great KZbin tutorials that explain really well how to use the software and start creating. So just look up some basic tutorials on the DAW of your choice and then once you get the gist of it, you can upgrade to the pro version and keep going from there. Sorry for the essay lol, I hope this helped a bit. :)
