There are also a lot more comps that are a bit more lower tier player friendly like nac that had three divisions, theres ADL or American draft league that is a for fun event, there’s also MLE thats hosted by minor league esports that do trackmaina in glad you enjoyed!!!

5:06 yo its me! also I agree with everything you said here, after 4k hours in RL playing from when the game came out in 2015, its just hard to get excited about it anymore, the core gameplay is still incredible, just need something to breath some life into it.

To be fair to rocket league. The engine they are on makes it difficult to some things. They did add 2 (while somewhat simple) game changing additions this year. Boost indicator and seeing where you will spawn after demos.

@beowulfECR i guess they added some more free maps now, but before all you could play is 25 maps per season, ranked and royale. Like you cant play specific kinds of maps you like I for examples i used to play a lot of ice maps, but without paying i can't play any, I also liked RPGs and tech campaigns. And the thing is all of those are comunity made it's stupid they lock community content behind a paywall.

Great video!! Thank you so much for putting this together, I loved watching a player's POV - it's not something I had the change to do before! :D For anyone who wants to participate: it happens every Saturday and starts right after COTN. Just join the room "Quickfire Cup" as soon as you get eliminated/win COTN and be there for the event! It lasts about 45 minutes and it's always a blast haha

Yeah.. there’s something like “what a save!” once.. And then there’s constantly spamming the chat with messages like “nice shot” and “close one” every single time your shot didn’t land. A what a save can definitely be deserved, but that’s not toxic. What is toxic is the spamming, the bullying, the weird “oh you didn’t play perfect the first 20 seconds of the match? Let me ruin the match because you made a mistake”

Yeah well fix the matchmaking then. I dont think people just started getting toxic. I think the amount of toxicity is indicative of a deeper problem, since it apparently happens "too often" now right? What changed? Is it the player? Or is it something like the matchmaking process changing? JS. Ill be partying up on this game from now on. The soloque aspect of the game is dead in lower ranks. People cant help being addicted to the game, but people can also learn how to play the current mode they are in and take the game a little more seriously. Time and place right?
