Don't let dealerships try to use a backup camera as a "feature." They're standard safety features since 2015. If they try to charge you more for a backup camera, its illegal.

Def nicer and better bang for the price then a BMW I always compare vw to bmw and not Audi because bmw is the competition and tbh u see bmw vs vw on normal driving all the time a bmw is everywhere , and I think the vw’s do way way better in stock performance then the competitors

My wife and I each bought a brand new 2023 Taos. My Taos has now has 12,000 miles and the back brake pads are prematurely failing. My wife has 11,000 miles and the head gasket is shot. It seems these 2 issues are affecting many Taos owners. Love the Taos, but too many mechanical issues. Please address these issues with your salesperson before you buy. I am not slamming the Taos. It is excellent vehicle once they resolve the ongoing mechanical issues.

The Taos seems to be a nice car. Why so many negative reviews? I had a 2019 Jetta I kept less than one year due to it using so much oil between changes. Has anyone heard of this?
