I'd love to see a tutorial on how you made this! Is there any repo you could point us to?

Is posible to import preanimated model into TD?
@memory88889 ай бұрын
Yes definitely- you should have access to all animation tracks - check the different tabs in the fbx node parameters - I believe there is a place to select the take

Extremely useful. There are not enough people in the community who describe how they animate 3D models in such a detailed manor. If anything we need much more content on this.

cool , thx for fixing major problem with paths.., major for me at least. Actually I still think its crazy amount of time and effort to load a simple fbx setup call backs.. otherwise we are close to make virtual pet
@memory88882 жыл бұрын
I agree, it's a very unintuitive process right now - probably prevents many people from using them. Perhaps we need to build an extended fbx component that takes care of all this stuff.

@@memory8888I usually am the one argueing for ease of use of computer on the forum, they probably think I'm an angry person and I know nothing about coding, 2nd is true. I do realise now there are limits to what I can ever achieve with code itself, I think becoming an expert in hieroglyf is probably easier than becoming hardcore coder due to amount of versions.... This is why we need an interface like touchdesigner, this works well with things like nvidia Flow they made it very usable, some other things, its the total opposit and every new version of TD makes all old patches not work even their ''Assets'' example file did not work...puts people off even old time users, that fbx file loosing itself annoyed me long time, the sound has always kind of issue crackling.. anyways The version of touchdesigner in my dreams is much better, it has new nods doing new cool stuff every month, super tracking system for mix reality, curve modeler and drawing options,everything ready to handle pointcloud operations for VR small productions, Games.

@@memory8888 Anyways we also need to wait til computers double or triple in performance to really be creatif with use of compositing plenty of shaders in 4k, try to record a peformance in TD and you are already miles away from 60fps the piece of trippy alive fast fluid art becomes a shit once captured. Only at a Rave in the middle of the night you can see the phenomene, youtube vids dont even get close, you need the ghost in the machine, lol

@@RusticRaver Glad you said that - impossible to capture the magic of the full-quality, right-into-your-eyes magic of a real-time scene. H264 destroys the magic somehow. Re: software development can't imagine how hard it is to be Derivative - attempting to keep multiple versions of software compatible while making the software better. it seemed like the reason the order of rotation mattered was because of how order of rotation is not commutative. I stumbled on one of your other Lsystem videos and will be revisiting them soon, thanks for the inspiration. I spent a few weeks playing with them when I first started TD but haven't had a chance to use them in full effect for a project yet.
