I'm a rising high school junior, so I've been looking at schools I could see myself attending. I'm only applying to 9 schools (4 reach, 3 target, 2 safety's) because I've already gone through 3 admission cycles for private school and magnet school and even those application processes took a lot out of me. While Harvard is not eliminated yet in my list of reach schools, I realized the reason I've considered it is because people around me see it as the peak of education which apparently is all the reason I need to go. While my intended majors are really good at Harvard I can't really see myself there. The elitist mentality, grade inflation, and campus are not my cup of tea. It's really nice to see someone else decide not to apply and your video was very informative.

I’m happy this video resonated w you! Def don’t apply to a school just because the people around you want you to-it’s best if you can truly see yourself going there :D

I wanted to use your video (it is really fantastic) in my classroom, but you did not define sublimation correctly. You defined it as a gas turning to a solid- which is actually desublimation/deposition. Sublimation is when solid transitions to a gas, skipping the liquid phase. Please consider fixing this. Thanks!

Realistic to say, she is not POC so she can't enjoy Affirmative Action in elite universities. Only kind of President Obama and VP Kamala Harris could afford Harvard tuition 🤭.

You mention a lot of great tips good job for that. I want to mention a things like you mention the ranking of the school when I was researching the colleges I want to go I use their college website, college board to see if they accept AP courses, the score requirements, I didn’t use US news college website that much because I wasn’t researching that many schools and I was not planning on moving to a another state. I love college vlogs not only it brings memories when you look back on but also imagine yourself being their one day I going to vlog the college I go to. Last thing I want to mention is most jobs don’t really care if went Harvard or any top school in the nation. 11:04-11:08 trust me save money is better let me tell you, you know New York University (I don’t there BTW) cost of lot of money according to their website on the cost of attendance for 2024-2025 school year if your a on and off campus student you have to pay $91,888 including Tuition, Transportation, Food and Housing, Personal Expenses, and Books and Supplies. Enjoy your senior year Class of 2025 and college students.

Those are available on the r/sat subreddit (I think it stands for Question and Answer Service, and they’re essentially real SATs from previous test dates), but keep in mind that they only have a bunch of those for the old version of the SAT, not the digital SAT, so it might not be the best resource to study with now

In college build connections this is important for jobs. Speaking of jobs I recommend getting an internship if you can during your undergraduate years, keep in mind that it might be hard to find jobs that are related to your degree during your undergraduate years. I give you guys the majors that I want to pursue to show you. Let’s say you got a AA degree in Biology you probably not going to find a job that requires AA degree in Biology. Last important tip stay healthy go to the gym, meditate, and save money if your going to be borrowing student loans you need to figure out how you can pay them back.
@happythumbsgaming860612 күн бұрын
My tips for those who are upcoming college freshmans are its okay if you don’t know what to major/study in college yet however by the end of your sophomore year in college you will need to decide what major/study you want to pursue. Have a backup major if one major doesn’t work out for you, when your researching the majors that your college offers keep in mind what degree they also offer some colleges may have a bachelors degree but they won’t have a masters or a PhD degree. Like I give you my for example the college that I go to they offer a Finance Bachelor’s degree but they don’t offer a Finance degree in Master. Last if your going to do community college then transfer to University research both colleges to make sure your credits are transferred and to e program you are in. I know this is a lot lol.
