Hello! Will the receiver still have to pay hidden fees? As the sender, I want to cover all the expenses and do not wish for the receiver to pay anything upon receiving the parcel. Baka naman po kasi pagka deliver sa kanila biglang pagbayaran si receiver.

Hi po! Ask ko lang paano po kapag nag unsuccessful delivery tapos na returned na sa akin yung parcel, paano ko po sisingilin ng re-shipment fee yung buyer? Manual po ba nya ipapadala sa bank acc ko kaya need ko po ibigay bank details ko po sa buyer?

Hi Common Room! I'm shipping internationally for the first time but I'm super confused if a CN22 form is required for registered mail items? The two branches in my area say they only have it for EMS and not registered. There's no other post office near me (I live outside Manila) and I'm concerned because I have items needed to be sent to the EU and I don't want my packages to be returned to me or disposed of. Thanks and hoping for your response!

Sorry it took a while! Here’s Studio Haebi’s reply: for me it’s better to have it printed and specified especially for EU just in case. Better to have extra than lacking details. But if your branch says it’s not necessary, you can still attempt to send and trust them on their judgement :)

Hi! Sorry it took a while. Here’s Studio Haebi’s reply: I think it depends on your method of shipping. If it’s registered mail, it’s under that category and the dimensions shouldn’t matter that much (except when balikbayan na siguro). The only time envelope size comes into consideration if you’re trying to mail it out as document rate, which is different from registered mail, if I remember correctly. Documents/letters are items that can pass through their machines. A tshirt will not pass through their machine for printing of metered stamps directly on the packaging.

Hi! They do open and ask a few questions about the items in the package. Very general ones like what the items are, where it will be shipped etc.. Not really detailed. But this is based on our experience. It may be different depends on the Philpost staff asking the questions.

From Studio Haebi: I think you can pack the items but leave the box unsealed because they might check the items, the rest should be a similar process, double check with the philpost branch near you :)

From Studio Haebi on meds and cosmetics: from my experience I had to tape my receipt of medicine purchased on the package itself (I was shipping kremil s to relatives) and declaring the items in the customs form. I’m unsure on the process for cosmetics but it should be similar to the normal process. Leave your package unsealed so they can check for you also :)
