Shame Excalibur never really took off. As far as I know the lake of the attraction still exists as vacant space. Do they have any plans to revive the attraction or do something new with it?

It's amazing to see that most of this version has returned since the Halloween Event. I always preferred the former versions with Dr X and the Vicar. Dr Ghostman was a... weird choice for the ride, but I'm glad they've undone it as it tonally never fitted in with the rest of the ride.

Yes they did for the lift part and also for the special elements. The neighboring Rollercoaster Temple of the Night Hawk ( now Crazy Bats ) also used music from the movie.

I have some behind the scenes tapes of the Batman ride and later Ice Age but they aren’t quite suitable to upload, but in the future I hope to do a documentary type feature on the park where I can use clips!

Wow it had the same audio as Chessington’s Vampire?! Looks like a really cool walk through attraction! Also, I can’t quite see what’s happening but the ‘singing lady’ audio at 5:58 I’m sure was used in an animatronic at Adventure Island, in the pirate ship walk through (the ‘beautiful’ singing lady turned round to make you jump and was actually a ‘demon’ with a snake tongue?!😂), it was used in the ‘Haunted Mansion’ dark ride on Clacton Pier too I believe.

I ha no idea this ever existed. It's crazy how the park still feels the same as it does in this video, despite changes. I think this boat ride is a little better than what they have there now with the shoot em up guns on the boats. Great video

Only a few edited clips exist in the tape archive from the studio that made Jungle Palladium, it seems the full footage was lost. More home video footage might turn up though

This is surprisingly anxiety inducing. Just being let loose in this empty, exceedingly dark environment is unsettling in a way US haunts and attractions can't manage. Unfortunately, the truth is, our typical patrons would wreck the place. Americans can't really be left unsupervised. (I say as someone who's been in the industry for years)...

This recording is made by someone working at Gasten who walked through when there were no guests there. It's not the normal experience for a guest. I worked there for a summer and on slow days, I would sometimes walk through just like this. There was always something new to discover in that place. So much wonderful detail and humor. But when we had guests they were made to keep their hands on the shoulders of the person in front and told to never open doors or touch anything, etc. Also we, the ghosts were always present and there were a bunch of cameras and always someone monitoring them live and we always had a manager on site who would go in and remove any guest who misbehaved. So all in ll, a pretty well coordinated and "well oiled" machine.

The German Version of this Ride had ALF and the Australian Version had Beetlejuice instead of ALF. As you can see the German version already had ALF included in the pre show. The Australian version only introduced Beetlejuice to the guests when the actual ride began.

Da die Warner Bros. Movie World Germany beim Bau 1996 einst eine Kopie der Warner Bros. Movie World in Australien war fügte man diesen Wasser Darkride mit hinzu wobei das Original dieses Rides nicht in der Warner Bros. Rode Excalibur (How it’s called now) in October 2022. Never been there before since WB Movie World Germany days. It was still fun but seemed kind of empty without the Neverending Story theming tbh. Miss those days. Warner bros times were the best times for the entire park.
