Money is tricky, but yes it is normally considered a continuous variable, which means it is a measurement number. Think of it this way - measurement numbers have UNITS of measure behind them like feet or inches or pounds, and money has dollars or cents as units of measure.

@@DrCraigMcBridePhD yes sir. at the end you mentioned at about 2:19, that this is the p-value for the next section when you pointed straight to the critical value box. critical and p values are not the same. oh, and this is kenny's brother.

Yes, I know there are 52 cards in a deck (not 56), but since the denominators both cancel out, it doesn't change the final answer.

You should have calculated both the permutations and combinations rather then giving the questions w formulas That way the student could verify his calculations

it should be 1 divided by (5/m), and when we divide by a fraction, we multiply by the reciprocal, so it becomes 1 * (m/5), and you get m/5 or (1/5)m

Why are some divided by sqrt n and just n?

Technically, we ALWAYS divide the SD by the SQRT of our sample size "n". It's just when we are sampling just one thing, n= 1 and thus dividing by the SQRT of 1 doesn't change the SD!
