Money is tricky, but yes it is normally considered a continuous variable, which means it is a measurement number. Think of it this way - measurement numbers have UNITS of measure behind them like feet or inches or pounds, and money has dollars or cents as units of measure.

@@DrCraigMcBridePhD yes sir. at the end you mentioned at about 2:19, that this is the p-value for the next section when you pointed straight to the critical value box. critical and p values are not the same. oh, and this is kenny's brother.

Yes, I know there are 52 cards in a deck (not 56), but since the denominators both cancel out, it doesn't change the final answer.

For the chain rule why do we need to get the derivative of the constant for the bottom function?
@DrCraigMcBridePhD Жыл бұрын
we have to take the derivative of the entire bottom of the fraction, so you take the derivative of the entire expression of 9 + 4x

Sir I am having confusion how to solve this 1÷5(1/m)=? Unit here is (1/m)
@DrCraigMcBridePhD Жыл бұрын
it should be 1 divided by (5/m), and when we divide by a fraction, we multiply by the reciprocal, so it becomes 1 * (m/5), and you get m/5 or (1/5)m
@skycallingtm Жыл бұрын
@@DrCraigMcBridePhD sir is the flipping of fraction also applicable to (m-1) WHEN ITS IN 1÷5(m-1)? Is that a rule (SORRY FOR BEING DENSE)

Why are some divided by sqrt n and just n?
@DrCraigMcBridePhD Жыл бұрын
Technically, we ALWAYS divide the SD by the SQRT of our sample size "n". It's just when we are sampling just one thing, n= 1 and thus dividing by the SQRT of 1 doesn't change the SD!
