Kendall! I have just seen you play with the Jon Spencer Blues Explosion in Nottingham UK and you were absolutely phenomenal. You stole the show. I'm a little biased being a bass player, but, you blew me away! Fantastic player! ❤️

Not bad. Vocals are flat but I hear a distinct southern twang. Would love to hear a more southernized cover. Instrumental part is solid.

Congratulations man thanks for making this old man's morning. That's the song I've not heard since Archie Bell released it when I was maybe 13. I'm 76 now so that was quite a while ago. Interestingly I never thought of it as Jazz until just now. You guys may not consider it Jazz but it has a very Jazzy flavor to me. Thanks again for resurrecting this seemingly forgotten song. Find job!

This era is so embarassing for the furs, RB prances around in an anne murray impersonation to this day. Instead of staying cool and letting success come to them (like cure, new order, depeche), or accepting if it didnt (like cabaret, killing joke, japan), they sold out to chase the mainstream and failed. They clearly lost songwriting when they went o just 3 lads. RB now lives in a working class NY suburb, just as pretentious. Sorry you never got that manse and the rolls Rich!

I have Flannel's debut cassette with a piece of Hunter's dad's flannel shirt glued onto the J-Card~ I bought it at a Salvation Army store in Bristol, Virginia in the early 2000's for 29 cents~ Best 29 cents I've ever spent in my life!~

@@batjuby One of my greatest finds music wise~ There is a band called The Dogs from Erie Pa. that I am the most proud of, but Flannel is a very close second~ When I'm showing off music to people, The Dogs and Flannel are always the first two bands I offer up~ Both should be at least as well known as The Stooges~

@@batjuby I actually own a physical copy of that cd, and kinda played a part in its creation several years ago when I contacted the guys in the band~ After I contacted them, Hunter put together that CD-R, made a handful of copies, and even sent one to me~ I have cleaned up those recordings even more, and basically eliminated all tape hiss from the songs~ I didn't know they were getting released again, or I would have sent them to Hunter~ I just re-found his email yesterday on the copy of the CD-R~

I wish I knew this was happening~ One of my favorite bands ever!~ I know that's not Dean~ *Edit* I just found out that Dean passed away in May~ Very sad to hear about that~ He was a great guy, and had vast knowledge of old school wrestling~ RIP Dean!~

That’s Bryan Clouse, on bass and singing, Hunter Duke on guitar and vocals, Ricky Tubb on drum and vocals

@@batjuby I found that out after I posted my comment~ It's cool to see Bryan Clouse back with the band, and I didn't recognize him~ He kinda looks like Les Claypool now~ I'm not familiar with Ricky Tubb, but he did a great job, and vocally sounded a lot like the original songs~
