Is possible to set local state a function instead of a string value? I mean name's value is "Greg", but name's value could be a function that returns an API response as an array?

Thanks for doing 1.one for Mac, and 2, giving a tutorial for first step beginners! Most make more advanced videos assuming you already know the basics. You could truly teach beginners from start to expert.... you have a marketplace most tutors dont

I'm glad you broke this down. When just starting, the entirety of the code seems unfathomable. As you broke down each part and told us how it's related to one another, we were able to get a better clue of how everything works. Everything is interconnected but not impossible to understand. As a noob, this is good content.

Awesome video. You actually don't have to use a return statement in an Arrow function. It will automatically return if you don't put the content into braces but just to the right of the arrow.

hey do you have a discord server or something so I can keep up with you? I'm all self taught full time but I'm on a time crunch, and this was the best instructions I can find. for a industry that's all about good communication it's hard to find someone who thoroughly explains these things

Will mounting/unmounting a component reset a variable’s state? Like if you use React’s createPortal to mount/unmount a modal?
