@@mattyaztec i do apologise ... gosh so after a bit of digging i saw that the prince and princess of wales lived on the Bodorgan estate on the isle of Anglesey off the coast of north wales, which has an outstandingly beautiful 126 mile coastal path.... however the royals and estate holders stopped the continuation through their a land and blocked off all of the coastal path through their private land, and also William and Kate never bothered to learn the language or integrate with the local culture , so we have something in common! the royals did exactly the same thing to the native's of canada, but it got a bit more horrid .... diolch yn fawr iawn am eich amser

A lot of people with seats too high and legs not long enough for the big girls. It would be fine with momentum and speed though. These big’uns are not made to crawl like this. I should know, I was like this a year ago. Keep at it, you’ll get there, and when you do you’ll master that Norden. Lush bike!

Yeah too slow and when they barely get moving they quit, get moving get on the pegs and keep momentum. Should have learned on little bikes first. But learning now. 😊

Camera is helmet-mounted, so you can tell the poor guy is looking down instead of ahead. Combine that with going too slow, constantly stopping, too little spacing between riders.... Not the way to get up a steep, loose path. Great learning experience, keep at it! Traction control on, stand up, head and eyes up, focus on your desired line ahead, and avoid stopping.

Hiya mate, cool video, could you tell me where these lanes are please? I've got a Himalayan and a 790 Adventure, and I'm looking for (very) easy lanes, in the S.Wales (ish) area. I'm very much an amateur, and these look about my level 🙂👍 Grumps

Hiya mate they’re around sennybridge that’s where we start. One that isn’t in this video is the Roman road not far from sennybridge that would be a good lane for you. Buy a OS map for mid wales or Brecon Beacons they will be on there. Have fun

It is a nice bike, definatly on my list for next bike. What bike would you have chosen if not this one? Any issues? How come you use Brittish postal codes in your clip? Do you use that instead of coordinates? Or are you a philatelist?
@mattyaztec Жыл бұрын
I put the postcodes up as a reference for others to find the lanes I’m riding. It’s a great bike I tried the tenere but didn’t like it due to the weight being so high up. This Norden just feels more comfortable for me a great purchase..

Looks like one of those trips that were absolutely amazing! Once it was over. Memories. Lots of unsolicited advice on here. They are all correct. Unfortunately, I feel the need to jump in too. Not sure what tire pressures you were running but it seemed like road pressures, you gotta air down offroad or it will feel like you're on ice skates. I feel the pain with gopro not doing justice!

Agree someone needs to make side deflectors for the tall windshield to give the air buffetting off your arms but it works pretty well keeping the air off the top of your head even with a beak on your helmet and I'm six foot three running 75 miles an hour

Hardly, and you should have used the first gear but only because you are starting on a steep slope and you were gassing the Norden as if you were in first gear. When you start on a slope in second gear you have to give it the bees the right way, you have to give it more throttle as you let out the clutch feel the release, the bike starts moving than you give it more just to have it level out. Then you don’t stop, you stand up on the pegs lean in to the back a bit and steer the best you can, do everything possible not to brake traction on lose gravel on a down slope.
