In the PCA we call this kind of church planting a mission church where there isn't a session at the direct church, but there's oversight from a healthy church. I think that's the perfect middle ground. It allows flexibility to reach different kinds of places while also having the support it needs. Also as a Presbyterian I agree with your take on having those with my views not being in the same congregation. While its not a salvation issue its important enough to where we should worship separately. Thanks for the interview and all you do in Scotland!!

I'm a Christian for 43years from a mixed marriage in Glasgow. I was a prod and she was a Tim. Both gloriously saved by grace. Believe it or not I find it hard to call myself a Protestant in case people think I'm sectarian. I've had ex Catholic friends who love identifying as true Protestants because of the great darkness they have been delivered from. It's actually a Catholic term for those who believe in justification by faith alone. In America these terms don't cause a stir because they don't don't have sectarianism like us.

Having been to the US for the first time late 2018 I have eaten at Chic-filal and here in Australia we have numerous Nandos restaurants and to which I confess is my favourite...... I was once told by my late father if I ate any more chicken I would grow wings. Lol :) Great hearing this insightful conversation.

The people in Gorgie are faithful to the Gospel. It's right next to a football stadium (will withhold the name in case it affects giving negatively) so there's a wide range of people coming in and out of that area all the time that desperately need to hear the Gospel - beyond the people who are living there. So grateful for the group of faithful Christians who have kept the building going all these years in that place and so grateful for 20 Schemes as they have prayerfully served this community.

How do you expect people to take religion seriously when the church won’t condemn stuff like men marrying men , gay ministers. These practices are anti Bible . That’s why the churches are shutting down .

I read in a chruch magazine, that churches are more likely to close in low-income areas wealthier ones. I give thanks to God for 20Schemes and pray for God to send more workers, and for God's guidance in where else, and his leading on when next to church plant.

Went to biblical counseling here in the US (for marriage issues). Very little Bible and what there was, was wrong. Stopped with that counselor after a few months but the damage was done.

Love that - Some pastors are in a McD diets. I'm praying 🙏 all shepherds to be well feed by the word of God 🙏.
