I do want to see the stop N' swap features. I really like your videos because I'm playing along you because I think your runs of games are clever and refreshing. I started with Ocarina of time, bit I'm doing DK64 and Banjo Kazooie at the same time.

personally hate the GTG. As a kid the GTG was the most confusing maze my brain could never figure out for the most useless item.
@raistormgaming12 күн бұрын
I think there was a guidebook I was reading to get through the game and I used it to get through the GTG. And I think it also mentioned that the reward wasn't even worth it.
@ytneyh12 күн бұрын
@raistormgaming even the guidebook knew it was useless. At least mm made the fire and ice arrows useful.

Beaver bother is the best game and it is absolutely a skill game... said one of my roomates laughing his ass off while I was trying to 100% Dk64 on his working N64 console... I think Dark souls 2 was easier.
@raistormgaming18 күн бұрын
They do say in order to do Beaver Bother, you need to have done the following: - Max out your Patience stat - Max out your Luck stat, then break that limit and do it again - Drink a Potion of Anger Resistance - Have multiple meditative tunes going on in the background at max volume - Find a five-leaf clover - Sacrifice a Kremling to Gnawty the Beaver God - Have all planets in alignment Then, and only then, can you beat Beaver Bother.

Fun Fact: the poe locations are the same with the big poes and all you need is to be on epona to spawn big poes no movement needed. Usually I sat on the hill by Kakariko looked towards the lower hill area to kill the poe
@raistormgaming25 күн бұрын
Didn't know the smaller Poes were in the same spots as the big ones. Although I swear I've had Big Poes spawn when I've back-walked through the field. I still think there is a speed component involved there. But I'm no expert on the subject.

i agree majoras mask is so great then ocarina then twilight princess never played wind waker but want to. I'm trying to 100% hyrule warriors just need the rewards map and xp grinding to finish it off.
@raistormgaming28 күн бұрын
I do recommend Wind Waker, it's a fun Zelda game. I do plan to play it in the future, so if you want to see it played, then I hope you'll look forward to it. Good luck with Hyrule Warriors. I've completed the Definitive Edition, and that was close to 400 hours. It was fun, but quite the endeavor.

It is a tough skill to learn. I know I struggled doing it when I was a kid. My trick at the start was to aim Epona straight towards the Poe so that when you aim the bow, you don't have to move your bow to aim (if at all). But as they say, practice makes perfect!

it's been a hood while since i played DK64 on the old Nintendo, I remember never beating the fish boss cuz I just kept running out of time, I wonder if you're playing it on the Original hardware or running an emulator
@raistormgamingАй бұрын
I do use an emulator, but only because it's the only way I can get the footage recorded. Plus, the graphics are a lot nicer to look at.
@Abram2020Ай бұрын
@@raistormgaming i mean the upscaled resolution still looks great, but i always feel like the render distance on most emulators is really low, like you ender the main part of world 1 and you can only see 1 or 2 tree's and not even the wasp that 10 meters away
@raistormgamingАй бұрын
I will concur that there are some emulators that do struggle to give a good render. But if things are done right, it's just like the original render distance. Even as I was playing this, I don't think I noticed anything different to my memory of all the times I played this as a kid on original hardware.

I also struggled on dogadon a long time ago. I thought I was doing something wrong when I turned big as chunky because when you punch him nothing happens so I would try other things
@raistormgamingАй бұрын
The fact that I just couldn't reach the punch threshold is what made this boss fight a real roadblock. Thankfully I'm much more wise to how this fight works now.

@raistormgamingАй бұрын
It certainly can be frightening when something you expect (in this case, the regular speed of the enemy) is suddenly different. And it certainly doesn't help when it's an enemy that is supposed to be scary!
@marigalv09Ай бұрын
@@raistormgaming You actually got him from a less scary angle. He actually charged at you from behind. When I played this game at 8 years old for the first time, when I got to this challenge I remember he stood still with his arms out and THEN charged at me facing me at that supercharged speed. Hahahah so traumatic. And the music with all the moaning of dead people in the background didnt help either 🤣🤣🤣🤣 The worst part? More of those guys will still be throughout the level 🤣

Beaver bother is a bs mini game totally justified with the save state
@raistormgamingАй бұрын
It's funny how I feel bad for 'cheating' on a mini-game that is unfair and broken. I know it I did it before without any additional help before, so maybe that's why I don't feel too bad for doing that.
