I don’t think Alex is on prednisone. Doctors don’t often prescribe it for pain because if taken long term it has side effects. So I disagree with that. Steroids are sometimes used with bad flare up for only for a short term. There are too many other nonsteroidal options.

Ok that’s a normal heart rate for a baby . Especially a boy . Usually if you get a good reading you hear almost a clicking sound , like a horse on concrete. But she’s has a lot of fat so it’s not going to be as clear with an Amazon Doppler . Mom will be lower , like 85-90. Unless she ran around and sat down !! She could get her own . But the 148 is a perfect boy heart rate. The sound of it is suspicious, but again she has so much fat , the Doppler is struggling . Now Idk why she won’t show it again or why she went so fast .
