I also relocated from SA as a nurse - my worst mistake. How's the weather in New Zealand. I want to compare with the UK,i hate it here, though it's been more than 3 years. Summer is only 3 months here in the UK. Everyday i want to go back home.

@@rbee2062 Hi there! I'm so sorry to hear you're feeling that way about your decision to relocate from South Africa. It's always tough to adjust to a new environment, especially when it comes to weather! As for New Zealand, the weather is generally mild and temperate, with four distinct seasons. Summer (December to February) is usually warm and sunny, with average highs around 20-25°C (68-77°F). Autumn (March to May) is mild and pleasant, with average highs around 15-20°C (59-68°F). Winter (June to August) can be cool and rainy, with average highs around 10-15°C (50-59°F). Spring (September to November) is a lovely time of year, with mild temperatures and blooming flowers. In comparison, the UK's weather is often overcast and rainy, with shorter summers and longer winters. I can understand why you'd miss the sunshine and warmth of South Africa! If you don't mind me asking, what specifically are you finding challenging about living in the UK? Is it the weather, the culture, or something else? I'm here to listen and offer any advice or support if I can!

Pronounce the Gq as in the iGQirha Lendlela (the click song by Miriam Makeba) - a VOICED CLICK. Not Qeberha which is an UNVOICED CLICK. See? It is not Xeberha, nor is it Ceberha. Practise the clicks.

My area I grew up in this area.. My best memories is attending boys brigade and playing rugby. Gangsterism is rife here with two Main gangs in the area. The upstand doggs and dust life gang, the community itself and the people get along well

Helenvale is a suburb in the north of Port Elizabeth. It was established in the 1950s when the apartheid Group Areas Act was implemented, resulting in the forced removal of families living in the established communities of South End, Fairview and Willowdene.
