Hi, I just got off the Panorama yesterday (1/11/2025) this was my very first cruise it was so much fun and the food was really good I have always wanted to take a cruise and finally got the chance to do so and now I want to take another cruise soon, you have some good insight on the cruise ship and good advice on what not to do on the first day. Keep up the great work.

I booked an interior cabin not my usual ocean view or balcony and I was groggy and tired the entire cruise. Did having an interior cabin affect you any different? Btw I thought that was your sister not your mom🥰

I defintely agree that the interior room can make you feel more tired given there is no light! I am much more comfortable when I have an ocean view or balcony, but I find when I book interior rooms, I can afford to go on more cruises! It is a money saver!

Totally picked up the packing cube after seeing it in play. Great stuff. Love all your vids. Can't wait for the next cruise one. My wife and I are heading out for our first cruise ever in April on Virgin Voyages. Then the Firenze in September. Watched all of your Firenze vids to make my decision for that cruise. I did have one question. What software did you use to create your intro graphic. I really like it.

I'm so glad I could help with the Firenze decision! I use a really simple, but fun, app to create my intros! I just use CapCut for all my editing!

It looks like you and your family cruise quite often. You’ve mentioned cruising the Panorama and (sp ??) Fierenza. Which ship is better, which did you enjoy the most? What preferences over the other ship did you have ?

Hi! I think both ships have there own things that make them their own! I will say that the Firenze since it is an Italian Style Cruise, is a little more elegant, as well as it has a few more diverse food service options. The Panorama would be a little more family friendly if you’re looking to do that. I personally liked the Panorama better because I enjoy the updated sports square area with the skyride, as well as the overall design of the panorama was more my style being less elegant. Hope this helps!

We parked at the Queen Mary because we had family staying there the night before and they got us a parking pass! You can’t park there unless you or someone in your group is staying there and can get you a parking pass! Cruise guests often park in the nearby parking garages. Carnival will send you an email closer to your sailing date with the parking garage address and costs! Hope this helps!

We were on the Panorama, first time, for the same 7 day cruise back in September 2023. Although the ports were great as was the food, this ship has ZERO personality. The worst thing was the show auditorium. IO was waiting for the cattle auction to begin. We had a more enoyable two day pre and two day post cruise stay at the nearby Queen Mary Hotel. It was a total delight!!...We were scheduled this year to do Panorama's sister ship, the VISTA, in May 2025 but cancelled....TWO MANY RECURRING PROPULSION PROBLEMS!!....Think they have drydocked her to root out the issues. Anyway, have fun on the Panorama!!......

Oh no! I’m sorry you felt this way! Good thing there’s always plenty of new ships coming out and maybe one you’ll like more! Maybe book one of the newer ships, the Celebration or the Jubilee! They are both a little more updated in my opinion!

Thanks for posting. So, this was a 4 day cruise with an overnight in Ensenada? Seems like they could have included a day in Cabo or even Catalina instead of all that time in Ensenada.

Hi! Yes, it was 2 days in Ensenada. Oddly for the use of Casino and Fun Shops, the first day in Ensenada guests had to be on my a certain time so we could go back out to international waters to use the casino and fun shops, and then the next day we came back into Ensenada again! It could have been better to have more than one port, but that’s okay! It gave us time to truly enjoy the ship!

I'm thinking maybe making my first ever cruise, solo, for mid February 2025. How far in advance would you buy the ticket for the cruise? Also I would need to book a flight as well so I don't want to book something for February then change my mind.

Hi! Matters on where you’re living currently! Living in Phoenix and having such easy access to California to cruise, we often can book last minute cruises and not have to worry about airfare. As for cruising and needing to book a flight, I usually recommend at least 6 months in advance so you can set up a payment plan and have enough time to book excursions, specialty dining, etc.

It was my first time in over 10 years, and I loved it! Definitely a lot to do and it is nice that the trams take you to a shopping area! Definitely recommend!

Exactly! One of my favorite things about Carnival is that they offer strawberry ice cream! Not every cruise line does that!

Hi! The resort day pass we purchased was $120 a person and included all you can eat at buffet and restaurant options, as well as any drinks (alcoholic or non-alcoholic). For water activities, it was not included in our day pass or through the resort itself, but many local people were on the beach offering parasailing, kayaking, etc. Hope that helps! as a TA enjoyed your video...Havana area is exclusive 24/7...normal guests are not permitted there at all.....also the elevators work great when people know how to use them but you experienced the problem when no one uses them right. You have to push the button 1 time for each person in your party and the elevators are programmed to stop taking people after it hits 10--- but most just push it once for 5 people and they all get on which slows it down

Yes! I learned that after this sailing! The update to Havana Pool Area is definitely new because I sailed the Firenze a few months ago and guests were allowed in the Havana after 8! Also, totally agree on the elevators! People need to prepare and learn the elevators prior to coming onboard to avoid over crowding them!
